Pop superstar Chappell Roan made a surprise appearance at the Oakland stop of Rosalía’s ‘Lux’ tour in Oakland yesterday (6 July), flying all the way from Missouri to share the never-before-told story behind her 2023 smash hit ‘Casual.’  In video captured by TikTok user angeliqueayalaa, who was attending the show, Chappell joined Rosalía in her confessional booth—a fun moment she’s set aside time for at her shows on this current tour, where she invites celebrities or audience members to share their confessions with the crowd.  Chappell takes Rosalía and the crowd back to pandemic times, when she says she entered a three-month online relationship with a writer she was working with after they began flirting, and shares the devastating way things worked out between them.  The reason she’s never told this story before? Chappell said she didn’t want things to be awkward, as this person still writes with several artists she knows.
