00:00If you only have 24 hours and you're looking for good food in Mexico City, here's what's worth the
00:04hype and the long lines in one of the best culinary cities in the world. Taqueria Talaquepaque
00:08easily had some of the best tacos I've had in CDMAX. From the chorizo, the suadero, and
00:14al pastor, every bite was flavorful, juicy, and perfect after a night out. It's my number one
00:19pick for tacos. Now let's talk about my favorite meal of this trip, Bicompa Chava. This seafood
00:24masqueria specializes in tostadas and everything is made fresh to order. The tuna and octopus
00:29tostadas were packed with flavor and were unbelievably fresh, and I absolutely love the assortment
00:34of Mexican chiles and sauces that you can add. I've never had fresh seafood with this much
00:39spice and fragrant peppers, but the standout was definitely the grilled camarones. It was
00:45a 10 out of 10. Contramar also lives up to the hype. Their tostadas were fresh and delicious,
00:50but the real star was the famous butterfly branzino with those two different sauces on each side. My
00:55fave was the smoky red chipotle, and of course I finished with their banana tart dessert. And
00:59don't skip the fruit stands throughout the city. The fruit in Mexico tastes much sweeter,
01:03and with the works, they top everything with chile, salt, and lime. Trust me, it's so delicious,
01:09you don't want to miss it. There's a ton of great food in CDMX. Let me know which one you're
01:13trying.
