00:00Where are my week one divas?
00:02We're here.
00:03Let's have a little meeting in the ladies' room.
00:07Welcome to Ms. Mojo.
00:08And today, we're counting down our picks for the times when Drag Race queens tried to game the system and
00:13the system won.
00:14I've been saying since day one, I'm open to alliances.
00:18That's how this game is played, Mama C.
00:20It's a different game.
00:22Number 10, Monet's Secret Alliances.
00:25What is the strategy you're going to play on?
00:26I really don't know.
00:28Yeah.
00:28I don't know.
00:30Can we, like, do we do an alliance?
00:32Alliances can certainly help you get farther on an all-star season.
00:35But when there are only eight of you and everyone knows you have an alliance with everyone,
00:39it makes it pretty clear you're out for yourself.
00:42That's what happened every time Monet X Change made a new super secret deal with a fellow all-star seven
00:47queen.
00:47I am here to play the game.
00:49I am here to play alliances.
00:50And I will lie, cheat, steal a crown if I have to.
00:55Soon, what started out as an agreement with Trinity the Tuck ballooned into an open secret that everyone knew about.
01:01If the strategy was to stir up some drama and airtime, well, then it was a massive success on that
01:06score.
01:06I feel bamboozled.
01:09I'm bewildered and beguiled by the fact that alliances are forming.
01:13Maybe I need one.
01:14But I'm not trying to get into no, like, back corner drag gang or none of that.
01:19Number 9, Spice's Sabotage.
01:21The lip-sync Lollapurusa Smackdown had the season 15 queens picking their opponents and the songs they'd lip-sync to.
01:28Spice thought she was really doing something when she chose Don't Go Yet by Camila Cabello.
01:32My logic behind choosing Don't Go Yet is because I know Malaysia doesn't know the words to this song.
01:39It was a brilliant strategy.
01:41There was just one problem, you see.
01:43Spice didn't know the lyrics either.
01:45Of course, she didn't realize this until mid-song.
01:47So that plan completely disintegrated into nothing.
01:54The result wasn't so much a lip-sync for your life as it was a lip-sync for your dignity.
01:59If that were the case, it would have been a double sashay.
02:02Malaysia ended up winning, putting Spice back and effectively ending her career as a master strategist.
02:08So once again, I have to go to the back and keep lip-syncing.
02:11Okay, okay, we got one last chance to stay.
02:14Number 8, Reveals for Reveal's Sake.
02:17And don't f*** it up.
02:27Sasha Velour's reveals at the Season 9 finale were inspired and truly shocking.
02:32The lip-sync smackdown for the crown mechanic was new,
02:34and no one had any idea what it would take to steal your opponent's thunder.
02:38When Season 10 rolled around, everyone came prepared to win.
02:42Aquaria, Eureka, Cameron Michaels, and Asia O'Hara all arrived with something up their sleeves.
02:47And we mean that literally.
02:57Their looks were all so obviously hiding so-called reveals that it robbed their stunts of any surprise.
03:03Asia's Butterfly stunt may be the most notable flop, but the others were just uninspired.
03:08They take away from the lip-sync performances instead of enhancing them.
03:24Number 7, Bosco lobbies for Saltine.
03:27One of Season 14's tensest workroom moments occurred when Bosco and Lady Camden fought for the lead role of Saltine
03:33in Moulin Rouge.
03:35Bosco's level-headed insults hit on Camden's insecurities and convinced their castmates she should play the part.
03:40There is a sexiness to it, but I feel like I showed the other side of Saltine, which is the
03:45romance and the love story.
03:46And I feel like I proved that to the judges as I beat you in that lip-sync.
03:50That is a good point.
03:52Do you think you would have beaten me in Swept Away?
03:55Yes, I do.
03:56Hmm.
03:57That's a bold opinion.
03:59Yeah, it's okay to be wrong sometimes.
04:02Her efforts eventually won her the role.
04:04Once we actually saw the Rusical, though, it was glaringly obvious that their head-to-head was a little silly.
04:10Covered girl, put the bass in your book.
04:14I know what's best for you, and you do not.
04:18Camden shone as Mama Z, and it was the more well-rounded character.
04:22Bosco brought little to Saltine, and after all the hubbub, she landed in the bottom.
04:26She was saved from elimination, not by her wits and wiles, but by a little gold chocolate bar.
04:32Oh my god.
04:33To be given a second chance is wild.
04:36And to be given a second chance that wasn't even from RuPaul, it was just from the universe, is insane.
04:43Number 6.
04:43Selena S. Tiddy's lobbies for votes.
04:46Let me tell you, a pinky promise from where I come from holds a lot of weight.
04:51That's just what I need to set up my game here.
04:53The season 15 fan favorite re-entered the workroom, thinking she was on Survivor instead of RuPaul's Drag Race All
04:59-Stars.
05:00Selena S. Tiddy spent the second bracket of All-Stars 11 working the point system and strategizing,
05:05even manipulating other queens to get extra points.
05:07I know that you and April were going to give each other your points.
05:10I would have given it to you.
05:13I won't.
05:14You're my pack pack.
05:16Maybe it's a good thing that she turned on me, because this little guilt trip right here
05:20could possibly secure my spot in the semifinals.
05:22Her aggressive bartering fell apart when Aura Mayari didn't give her the point she needed
05:26to advance to the second round.
05:28In the end, she got outfoxed by Silky Nutmeg Ganache,
05:32whose surprisingly low-key strategy simply worked in her favor.
05:35Selena's untucked tantrum may not have worked, but we got the great TV we needed.
05:40I have nothing to say to Aura.
05:42And I cannot look April in the face without slapping it right now.
05:45I just lost when I could have won.
05:48Number 5.
05:49Robbie Turner forgets to choose a challenge.
05:51In its 100th episode, Drag Race honored its past.
05:54For their first design challenge, the Season 8 queens were tasked with a different challenge
05:59from seasons past.
06:00As winner of the mini-challenge, Robbie Turner had an edge going in.
06:04Now, Robbie, you get to assign all of the queens' looks and choose your own.
06:09That could have been a massive opportunity to sabotage other players while giving yourself
06:14an advantage.
06:15Unfortunately, Robbie got so lost in her assignments that she left herself for last.
06:20Damn it.
06:21Can you believe I forget to pick a theme for myself?
06:23Guess who gets stuck with the poodle?
06:26She went from having all the power to completely sabotaging herself.
06:30The error was just doubled by her misfire of a design.
06:34It was a costly mistake, and it landed her in the bottom three for the week.
06:38It was like a series of misfortunate events.
06:41Do you think that you deserve to be in the bottom?
06:45Um, no.
06:46I think my personality is winning.
06:50Number 4.
06:52Never eliminating Shay.
06:53Every All-Star season has that one major threat.
06:56That queen who was so close to winning the first time.
06:59Shay Coulay is perhaps the biggest threat ever to make a return to the show.
07:03How do you feel beating Alyssa Edwards?
07:06I mean, bitch.
07:07I'm like, what universe am I living in?
07:11Coming to the competition, I thought Shay Coulay was the queen to beat.
07:15And she's in the top of the game right now.
07:18Alyssa Edwards?
07:19Oh my god.
07:20In a lip sync?
07:22The gag.
07:22She won four challenges in her original season.
07:25In a traditional finale scenario, she most likely would have won season 9.
07:29Oddly enough, her track record on her winning season was less consistent,
07:33leaving her vulnerable to elimination in three of eight episodes.
07:37Girl, I am gooped.
07:42Gagged.
07:43I am in the bottom three.
07:45I could be going home tonight and I'm feeling so fragile.
07:50Her competitors had multiple opportunities to vote her out and just didn't.
07:53No one even voted against her in the penultimate episode.
07:56Their last chance to clear the way for their own victory.
07:59Instead, Shay took her spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
08:02Oh my goodness, the center is a lot heavier than I thought.
08:06But that's okay, because I look sickening up.
08:09Number three.
08:10Morgan McMichaels reveals her strategy.
08:12All-star rules are in full effect.
08:15Each week, the top two queens will lip sync for their legacy.
08:19The winner will receive a $10,000 tip,
08:23plus the power to eliminate one of her fellow queens.
08:28The fact that the returning queens were now the ones who chose the eliminated queen every week
08:33threw a major wrench in the works.
08:34It begged the question, how will they decide who deserves to go?
08:38Brutally honest Morgan McMichaels said it plainly.
08:41I'm just going to send the bitch home that I think is the strongest.
08:45Really?
08:46That's exactly what I'm going to do.
08:47That's fine.
08:48In fact, it makes sense.
08:49But she told this to the other queens in the very first week.
08:53Morgan is talking about she's going to eliminate the strongest queens to knock out the competition.
08:57Sweetie, that's a great strategy that you should not have said out loud in front of all these queens.
09:01Guess who was the first one to go?
09:04Morgan's strategy wasn't unique to her, but she made the mistake of being upfront about it.
09:08I think that it's a little contradictory that Dayla sent me home because I wasn't the worst out of the
09:13two.
09:13But I'm grateful to be here.
09:15Even though I'm the first to go, I'm still part of a legacy.
09:17So, excited about that.
09:19Number 2.
09:19Not sending Alaska home.
09:21The Season 5 finalist's record was near flawless.
09:25Alaska dominated the second All-Star season every week.
09:27She also had the protection of her allies, Roxy Andrews and Detox.
09:32That made her the biggest threat from every possible angle.
09:43With five queens left, the week's top two, Katya and Detox, got their chance to take her out.
09:49Alaska didn't just land in the bottom for the drag family resemblance challenge.
09:52She was one of the sorest losers the show had seen up to that point.
09:56Acting this way only exacerbates the problem.
10:00I know that.
10:02I'm an adult, but it's like the end of the road is flashing before my eyes.
10:08It's really hard to take.
10:10Sending her home should have been a no-brainer for any queen who wanted to win.
10:14But neither Detox nor Katya chose Alaska.
10:18Alyssa Edwards went home, and Alaska survived to claim her crown in the finale.
10:22Here you are, darling.
10:24On behalf of your millions of fans around the world, my queen, I bow to thee.

10:58Number 1.
10:59Pangina Heels eliminates Jimbo.
11:01The first international mashup saw some fairly heavy hitters, including Drag Race Thailand host Pangina Heels and Canada's Jimbo.
11:09These two became immediate frontrunners.
11:11In the cutthroat All-Stars format, that also made them big targets.
11:15I'm having a little bit of a neck issue, but I'm going to work through it.
11:20I see.
11:20Well, suddenly someone has a neck injury out of nowhere, so...
11:26Performance anxiety?
11:28I don't know.
11:29Their best option would have been to join forces and maximize their joint slay.
11:34Pangina eliminated Jimbo, explaining her reasoning being less about strategy as it was about the judges' critiques.
11:39Sorry, I have to do this.
11:40Can you read?
11:41My name is Pangina.
11:42I'm a stupid idiot.
11:43One more time, please.
11:43My name is Blue, and I'm a stupid idiot.
11:46Her approach to the game did not pay off.
11:49Eliminating Jimbo turned out to be Pangina's undoing.
11:52Without another big threat, her threat level increased, and Blue Hydrangea took her out the next week.
11:57It was a one-two punch of the most dramatic and emotional eliminations in the entire franchise.
12:03I'm feeling devastated.
12:05I'm heartbroken.
12:09This is a shock to me, but Blue decided to choose me to go home, maybe because I'm a threat.
12:15But this is how it is.
12:16This is the game.
12:18What strategy would you use to survive the workroom?
12:20Tell us in the comments.
12:21To be honest, you should've already been able to double advantage if you wanted to make it.
12:23To be honest, you should choose me.
12:24Hardware.
12:26You should've seen the total necessaryrooms in the country.
12:27And as quickly as a link goes, I'll see you next time.
12:27Take care.
12:27Get out of the uhm, if you want that thing!
12:27See you next time.
12:27I'm going to see you next time.
12:27I just want to watch you next race character.
