00:00There's some reports out there that the U.S. Soccer Federation has had some positive talks with Maurizio Pochettino
00:07to remain as this team's head coach.
00:10One, how do you think Posh did as this team's head coach in turning around soccer culture here in America?
00:18And do you think he's that guy that can get Team USA over the hump?
00:22I think Maurizio Pochettino did a great job.
00:24He had a really difficult task.
00:27You know, sort of get this team firing in 18 months.
00:30It's not easy to do when you're a national team manager, and he did that.
00:33They got him to believe, they got him to buy in, and ultimately have a good tournament.
00:36So does that mean he deserves another four years?
00:39Maybe.
00:40I think U.S. Soccer will sort of look at all their different options.
00:45He's certainly one that would be a front runner for me, but he has to want to do that too.
00:51And only people on the inside understand, and I'm not on the inside,
00:55but they'll understand whether he has the pulse of this team,
00:59whether he has the ability to continue to motivate this team.
01:01And if he does, and all parties accept, then he might very well be the next manager.
