00:12Now, Harry was reportedly planning to bring his wife Meghan Markle and their children
00:17to the UK for the first family visit in four years. He was understood to have been so excited
00:25for his father, King Charles, to have the opportunity to spend time with his kids, with his wife,
00:31and really just get to know Archie and Lilibet for the very first time. However, there was a massive
00:39spanner thrown in the works when it was revealed that Harry had been denied taxpayer-funded security
00:44for his visit to the UK capital. This effectively means that any security arrangements made for the
00:52trip need to be funded specifically by Harry and or Meghan. As a result, Harry said that he didn't
00:59feel safe bringing his wife and children to the nation's capital because he couldn't be assured
01:05that they would be entirely safe the whole time. So, Harry is in London, Meghan and the kids are
01:12understood to be just a few hundred miles away enjoying a vacation in Portugal. However, all hope
01:19for a reunion between King Charles and his grandchildren is not yet lost. Insiders are
01:26claiming that there is still a small glimmer of hope that the King will get the opportunity to see
01:32Archie and Lilibet, with insiders alleging that both Charles and Harry are working frantically behind
01:38the scenes in order to come up with a suitable arrangement that would make it safe for the entire
01:44Sussex family to be in the UK together. At the same time, other insiders have claimed that Charles
01:50has instructed his team to find gaps in his schedule when he might be able to see Archie,
01:57Lilibet, Meghan and Harry, if that is, they end up in the UK. Are you managing to keep up? Because

02:03I am confused. Now, one source has told Page Six that the linchpin in this whole plan is none other
02:11than Meghan Markle, noting that her participation in this whole scheme will be integral to Harry,
02:18Charles, the kids and of course her spending some time together. It remains to be seen whether or not
02:24this trip will actually happen. However, time is running out. Harry has had a packed schedule since
02:31arriving in the UK late on Monday. He had a busy day of events on Tuesday, a busy day of
02:36events on
02:37Wednesday, and he's now traveled to Birmingham, where he will be hosting several events held to
02:42mark the one-year countdown to the next Invictus Games. Now, some sources have said that Harry does
02:49feel safer about Meghan and the kids joining him in Birmingham rather than in London. But we are just
02:56going to have to wait and see whether that reunion actually takes place. There is a little bit of
03:02time over the weekend when Charles, Harry and the entire Sussex family might be able to sneak in a
03:09couple of hours, but nothing has been confirmed thus far. Meanwhile, this trip has also made clear
03:16that the rift between Harry and his brother William is still very much going strong. The two brothers were
03:23both taking part in events in London on Tuesday, and they were just 12 miles apart from one another.
03:30William was attending an event at the Welsh School in London, while Harry was hosting an Invictus Games
03:36themed event. Despite being just an hour's drive away from one another, we understand that the brothers
03:42did not meet, and furthermore, they have no plans to do so while Harry is in the UK. So, while
03:49Harry and
03:50Charles may well be working on mending their relationship, it looks like for now the two
03:55brothers have no plans to do anything of the sort.
