00:03Hey, this is People in Penn. In case you missed it, a little wedding happened this weekend.
00:08Taylor and Travis said, I do on a sweltering hot day at New York City's Madison Square Garden
00:13in front of a thousand of their closest friends. I'm only kidding. Really, who wasn't there? It
00:20was a who's who of Hollywood and beyond. You had your comedians, TV and movie stars,
00:25Olympians, pro athletes and their wags. And of course, the musicians were in the house with
00:30the Nashville contingent coming in hot for TNT. Plus, the bride and groom's inner circle of family
00:35and friends. Only these two could snag Adam Sandler as their officiant, then follow it up
00:40with performances from Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney. The most star-studded wedding ever
00:45in the history of weddings is definitely in the running. Now the good stuff, the behind-the-scenes
00:52wedding deed. So first, we know Taylor walked down the aisle to an instrumental version
00:57of her own iconic song.
01:05Then, she not only made her man emotional during their vows, she even sang part of them. And those
01:11were some long ones, y'all. They apparently spent 20 minutes reading each, but everyone was locked in
01:16watching the duo and their Christian Dior haute couture, a favorite brand of the new Mrs. Kelsey.
01:21And while they kept some traditions, they opted to skip the usual bridal party with Tay's brother
01:26Austin as her man of honor and Trav's brother Jason as his best man. And according to Chiefs head
01:31coach Andy Reid, Adam, who kept pretty busy in the days after the wedding, gave the couple simple
01:37advice while doing his duties. Keep kissing. Don't think they'll have any problem with that.
01:42And while guests were treated to bars everywhere, there were also food trucks,
01:46Italian dishes, sushi, even caviar on chicken nuggets. Yum! A friend said they didn't see Taylor
01:53stop smiling once all night. And why would she? She finally got her happily ever after.
02:00And Prince Harry just touched down in London town.
02:03We're going to keep fighting, Harry.
02:05His rep told me earlier that he's looking forward to the week of events and he's happy to be back
02:11in the UK.
02:11Even though his arrival on Tuesday came amid a legal loss, the Duke of Sussex still has a lot to
02:17celebrate, like kicking off the countdown to the Invictus Games, which will take place in Birmingham
02:21next year. The whole visit has been mild in some difficulty, to say the least, over where he might
02:27stay and also security. And that's the reason he feels he can't bring his wife Meghan Markle and
02:33children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet with him for the London leg of the visit.
02:38Total bummer the whole fam couldn't join. They haven't been back to the UK for four years,
02:43but Harry made the tough decision after some wild back and forth with Buckingham Palace.
02:48Let's just say there was a lot of he said, she said, ending with the palace withdrawing their
02:53invite for Harry to stay on royal grounds after he supposedly missed the deadline to answer the king.
02:58They cited a lack of staff to accommodate him. Hmm. I'm still holding out hope for a meetup though.
03:04It could happen. What's the only thing worse than getting knocked out of the World Cup?
03:10Getting trolled by the team that did it. After Belgium's four to one win over Team USA,
03:15they posted a photo of Romelu Lukaku with just two words, overturn this. That dig referenced
03:21President Trump finagling an official review from FIFA after a red card was given to Folaire
03:26and Balogun before the match. FIFA ended up overturning his suspension, meaning Folaire and could play
03:31after all. But it didn't even matter because Belgium made sure the final score didn't need
03:36review. Leave it to the Odyssey cast to make their premiere just as epic as their summer blockbuster.
03:42The group had a red carpet reunion in London and true to the movie's source material,
03:46their fits were giving mythology. Zendaya looked every bit the part of Athena,
03:51trading her usual short bob for majestic waist length waves.
03:55And her dress had an odyssey of its own. According to her stylist, Law Roach, who we'll talk to later
04:00in the show, the gown was flown from Paris to London on a private jet the same day. And if
04:06you're
04:06wondering who designed it?
04:08I'm wearing a superlady.
04:09Of course you are. Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway cradled her growing baby bump in a Gossima gown
04:15with floral details from Dior. And we'd launch a thousand ships for Lupita Nyong'a's crystal mesh
04:21Christian Cowan gown. Safe to say they all understood the assignment and kept the stylish saga
04:27going for its Paris installment too. The Today Show host put on a united front this week in color.
04:34Look at this. It makes me feel like we should try to coordinate more often.
04:39On Tuesdays, we yellow.
04:40After Carson noticed that he and Savannah were the only ones not wearing a dash of the cheerful hue,
04:45they decided that just wouldn't fly with Savannah pulling a full switcheroo mid-show.
04:51I changed my outfit and changed into a new dresser.
04:55You know what? I told her that on Tuesday we wear yellow. So from now on...
05:03Wait, I didn't know that rule.
05:04No, it's not a rule. We're starting it today.
05:07Yellow is actually Savannah's favorite color and has even become a symbol of support
05:10and everything going on with her mom. It suits you, girl.
05:15And Beyonce just gave the beehive a big surprise.
05:18To celebrate 20 years of B-Day, she dropped a previously unreleased song called Morning Dew, Donk.
05:24Yes, Donk.
05:25And this one has history.
05:31So the track was reportedly from her 2013 self-titled era,
05:35but no one heard it till it leaked in 2023 and took off with fans online.
05:39Now it's official and launches the 60-day countdown to the B-Day 20th anniversary reissue.
05:45Where did the time go? And she isn't the only one throwing it back.
05:49The Jonas Brothers are reviving their Burning Up tour from 2008 for two red-hot nights at MSG.
05:54While across the pond, Harry Styles closed out a record-breaking 12 nights at Wembley.
05:59His sister Gemma joined him on stage to reflect on how far her little brother has come.
06:04And Harry himself paid tribute to his other family.
06:07One Direction. He thanked Niall, Louis, Zayn, and Liam by name,
06:11saying none of this would be possible without them.
06:15The Emmys is two months away from making history.
06:19Mariska Hargitay is set to host TV's biggest night in September,
06:22becoming the first woman to host the ceremony in 15 years,
06:25since Jane Lynch hosted in 2011.
06:28Olivia Benson, you're officially on the case.
06:31And on Wednesday, we learned who she'll be handing those Emmys to.
06:34You can check out the full list of noms on People.com.
06:36But The Pit leads the competition with a massive 25 nominations.
06:41You're a very empathetic soul.
06:43But this is the ED, it's not for the faint of heart.
06:45And Hax is going out on top, with a record 24 nods for its final season.
06:50God, look at this.
06:54She has risen!
06:56All that as some new shows break onto the scene, like Pluribus and Widow's Bay.
07:00And the lead actor and actress races will be tight, as always, including Zendaya, Noah Wiley,
07:06Jean Smart, Martin Short, Lisa Kudrow, and Iowa Debrey.
07:09But don't forget about supporting, with stars like Harrison Ford, Michelle Pfeiffer,
07:14Hannah Einbinder, Catherine Lanasa, and Paul W. Downs will vie for that iconic trophy.
07:22And Jean Smart might be a lead actress nominee, but she knows how to let others shine.
07:27Like her former co-star Megs Dalter, who made her Broadway debut in O'Mary this week,
07:31with Jean watching on.
07:33Full body chills.
07:35Feel goosebumps.
07:36Their hilarious five-season run came to an end in May,
07:39so it was nice to see her still rallying for her Hax fam.
07:42She even stuck around for the after party, where there were plenty of hugs to go around.
07:47Now it's the sit-down with Law Roach.
07:49Hi Law.
07:50You're back for another season on Project Runway.
07:53Season 22, with 22 contestants.
07:56Who brought more drama?
07:5722 contestants, or one Miss Tyra Banks?
08:00Um, I think that there's a lot of drama, I think, which makes the show great.
08:04I also think there's a dynamic and a bit of drama between the judges,
08:09and all the judges, you know, me and Heidi, me and Nina, me and Tyra.
08:13I think, I think I like to kind of, um, um, push everybody's buttons a little bit.
08:19You know?
08:20You're overstepping.
08:21No, you're overstepping.
08:22Tyra's a recurring judge this season.
08:23If you're a fashion daddy, does that make Heidi, Tyra, or Nina fashion mommy?
08:32Be quiet.
08:34I'm fashion mommy.
08:35I'm the mother.
08:39We know you've talked about how you collab with celebs and what goes into creating an
08:43iconic image.
08:44What is the hardest aspect of your job as a stylist to the stars?
08:47I always say that it's, it's relatively easy to become successful, right?
08:51I think if you work hard, you treat people right, you do all the things that your parents
08:57taught you, I think the hard part about it is remaining successful.
09:01Like, it's easy to get there, but how do you stay there?
09:04And to remain relevant and, and, and all these things is, is what the real challenge is.
09:13Don't force me to have more work.
09:17I really believe that the universe puts people in my life and vice versa exactly at the moment
09:23where it's supposed to be.
09:24So I've never had a, a wish list of people that I wanted to dress.
09:28The only person that I would have loved to dress that is no longer with us is Prince.
09:36We have some summer interns with us today and interns are the backbone of the fashion
09:40industry.
09:41So give us your best intern advice, your do's and your don'ts.
09:44Find people that, that inspire you, that you want to model, somewhat model your career
09:51after and work hard and learn every single thing that you can learn about the industry
09:57or the job that you want to have.
09:59My number one don't is do not put your phone on do not disturb at 5 p.m.
10:04I hate that.
10:06The job begins when it begins and it's over when it's over.
10:09And you should be willing to give 175% if this is something that you're truly passionate
10:15about.
10:18Looking back, what are three looks you've created for any celeb or yourself that feel
10:24the most memorable to your journey?
10:26Zedaya at the London premiere of DOOM 2 with the infamous blue glare robot suit on.
10:33Celine Dion at the 2017 Billboard Awards with what we like to call the cloud dress.
10:40I've never saw so many grown men cry.
10:44Another look that's really special for me that nobody will ever really get to see is
10:49Zendaya's wedding dress.
10:52To end, we're going to put 10 seconds on the clock.
10:55Tell everyone why they should check out season 22 of Project Runway.
10:58I think everyone should check out season 22 of Project Runway because I'm on it.
11:05Ha ha ha.
11:06Ah.
