00:00So let me show you how to make my favorite cookie, the chocolate molasses spice cookie.
00:04One stick of butter, a tablespoon of freshly grated ginger, and a half a cup of brown sugar.
00:11So while that's creaming, all-purpose flour, ground cinnamon, a quarter of a teaspoon of
00:16ground cloves, and one and a quarter teaspoons of ground ginger. And then just add one tablespoon
00:24of cocoa powder, half a cup of molasses, and add the rest of your dry ingredients.
00:30And now, oh, don't forget, seven ounces of semi-sweet chocolate. And that's it. And then
00:36form the dough after it's chilled in two balls. Roll them in sugar. This is what comes out of the
00:43oven. Cookies that are utterly delicious.
