01:24I think there was a phenomenal sight.
01:27But I saw him before the match as well.
01:29He congratulated me for Roland Garros as well.
01:32So it was very nice of him to stay.
01:36David?
01:37Could you give us an idea of the difference in your day today compared to what it would have been
01:44if you hadn't needed to come back?
01:46I mean, I imagine quite a lot of extra hours here, obviously the match itself.
01:51But I mean, what it does to you and your rhythm for tomorrow?
01:55No, I think for tomorrow it's going to be okay.
01:57I think more it's today.
01:59You know, of course, it's better to have just a normal training day because, you know, last night you still
02:06go to bed at 2.30 a.m.
02:09and you have to wake up at 9 because your warm-up is at 11.
02:13And normally I would have slept in and practiced probably around 1.30, 2 o'clock, had an easy hit.
02:20But again, that's totally fine.
02:25We understand that we as players, we know that there's a curfew at 11.
02:29We know that we have to come back the next day.
02:32It's really not a big deal.
02:35For me, it was more interesting.
02:37I didn't know that the rule has changed that we have to play with an open roof the next day.
02:41That was more interesting to me because that changed the match dynamic as well.
02:44It's completely different conditions as well.
02:48Yeah, that was for me the more surprising thing.
02:52But everything else, it's fine.
02:54I'd much rather be in a position I'm in now than the last year where I was fresh.
03:01and not in the tournament anymore.
03:03Liam.
03:04Sasha, great win.
03:05It was two years ago here that Taylor began his run against you.
03:10As you go into that next match, what do you think is the issue tactically
03:15that you've been facing over the last couple of years?
03:17I think the last couple of times that we've played, it's actually quite simple.
03:25Taking out the match in Halle because in Halle I was struggling.
03:29I openly said I was struggling with my sugar quite a lot, so take that match out.
03:34The other matches, he was just better than me.
03:36It's sometimes as simple as that.
03:38He was in better form, he was playing better than me, and that's about it.
03:45The matches that we played, it was quite simple, he was better than me.
03:48But again, I do feel different now, I do feel like I play better,
03:53I do feel like I'm in better form, and I do believe I can win tomorrow.
03:59First time in the quarter-finals here, is that a milestone for you?
04:03Having won Roland Garros and got to three other major finals, is that almost incidental?
04:09No, it's still nice to complete the set of quarter-finals for majors, of course.
04:14But of course, also I want to go further and I want to play hopefully three more matches here.
04:20But of course, I'm happy about it, I'm happy to be in the quarter-finals.
04:25But again, for me, the tournament doesn't stop here.
04:28Is it because you're playing better on grass, or is it just playing better?
04:33I think generally this year I'm playing better than I did last year and the previous years.
04:38But I think I've adapted better on grass as well, for sure.
04:43I've adapted my game a little bit.
04:45I don't know if you noticed, but my return position is a lot closer to the baseline,
04:49sometimes inside the baseline, which it was in the last couple of years.
04:53I feel more confident and comfortable there than I did the last couple of years.
04:58I think all of these things, they're just better on grass than they were before.
