00:13after a delay of several hours due to storm threats
00:16which forced the temporary evacuation of thousands of attendees.
00:21In his speech, President Donald Trump praised the United States
00:26as the ultimate culmination of human history.
00:33No people has done more good, shown more courage,
00:36has made more progress, has corrected more injustices
00:39nor has anyone achieved greater greatness than you, the American people.
00:44For 250 years, the United States of America has been the hope,
00:48the promise, the light, and the glory among all the nations of the world.
00:52Everyone in the world tries to be like us, but no one can be like us.
00:56And with God's help we will always be like this, or even better.
01:03Trump also paid tribute to World War II veterans
01:07and of the Korean and Vietnam wars, which he considered examples of the battle against communists.
01:21Our warriors did not fight against communism on battlefields around the world
