00:00I always have the same feeling, though, when you're dealing with a guy like David Stearns as the manager.

00:14I hope that you do, because the best stuff, the greatest stuff, comes out of that type of collaboration,
00:23where one person sees it one way, another person sees it the other, you discuss it,
00:27maybe sometimes it gets a little contentious, but bang, you find something special.
00:31I would love for David Stearns to want to have a guy like that in the dugout.

00:41They like someone who's going to listen to everything that they say, you know,
00:44and that's why David Stearns ended up firing the entire coaching staff before firing Carlos Mendoza before the season
00:51and putting a young analytics guy there as the bench coach,
00:54to be able to feed everything through him that he wants to do.
