00:00another another couple days with another couple brandon iuk videos um i want to be clear i don't
00:08think the videos impact his ability to play in catch footballs but that's about his health and
00:15his desire to do so because he has proven it um i've been in the nfl for he's played five
00:24seasons
00:24parts of five seasons i believe he's had one monster year um another good year um the earlier
00:32years they were kind of waiting on him to break out i would say i was a good player and
00:36could he
00:36help his team yes hasn't caught an nfl pass since october of 2024 hasn't caught a touchdown since
00:43the 2023 season in the playoffs um but he's a good player the the continued repeated videos however
00:51i do believe are making things more complex for washington to sign him i will give him credit
00:57because there's been a lot of iuk discussion of like tell us why you're so mad and i think he
01:04attempted to do that this past weekend or this past series of videos um he posted a long video that
01:12we
01:12cannot play because it's just simply so expletive filled um but it's long and it's kind of his side
01:19of the story and we do have it how many yeah i added this you did this is gonna have
01:24more
01:24i bleeped out everything dursday um all right this is the latest this is the long one all right
01:29brandon iuk in his own words what went wrong in san francisco these is all weird weirdos
01:36creepy predators i would never ever ever
01:41i would never ever ever with these i don't care how long i gotta wait to get to you my
01:49baby
01:51but if it involves with them first
01:55i'm waiting general manager gonna pull up to my house
02:01a weirdo like bro don't pull up to my house uninvited boy she ain't safe
02:08but i knew his ass was gonna do it
02:13so i'm looking at my camera my front door camera i see a big old
02:17white boy white man former nfl safety
02:24and i'm like oh hell no and i know my wife is about to be back home soon so i
02:31have to call my
02:31wife and say uh it's a big ass white man at the house i don't know what he doing over
02:38there
02:39he was not invited creepy so if you on your way home just probably just spin the block a few
02:46times
02:46because i don't know what bro on weird the same general manager
02:52that tried to run me down and come apologize for his head coach
02:57because his head coach got a temperament of a toddler
03:01and was speaking out the side of his mouth to me
03:07knowing that you got it bro you got it bro what i'm gonna do in here beat you up
03:10come on bro like you know come on bro you just talking crazy because you know you can talk crazy
03:17but you feel me don't respect me or i'm gonna get on bro i'm gonna get on bro
03:23i'm gonna get on bro so the story is i don't with them and i never will
03:31but i forgive you feel me all right you feel me i'm trying to i'm trying to get better i'm
03:37trying to
03:38grow i'm trying to heal so i ain't finna hold it against but we is not cool we won't be
03:44cool and i
03:45will never be stepping in that building except for on october 19 when i come through with that
03:50bill
03:53lots unpacked there um oh man i you can explain that he had the same agent as john lynch
04:00and that is not the one thing that i know that's not uncommon like there's a there's a lot of
04:06a lot of times people like that kind of stuff happens right um that said clearly things went
04:16sideways i i think the injury made things really complicated whether he asked for a trade request
04:22whether he was healthy and then could be back and they wouldn't let him play because they wanted to
04:25trade him in case he got injured again saying that kyle shanahan has the temperament of a toddler
04:31i thought was pretty damn funny kind of funny and i think everybody involved understands
04:37kyle shanahan has a healthy ego and i'm sure it started to go sideways between the two of them
04:43i do think lynch coming to his house was probably an attempt to straighten things out after ba and
04:51kyle got into it i i would guess that was to try to help i don't think he was coming
04:56over to fight
04:56or with foul intentions or any of that but i can see i you doesn't want to deal with that
05:01after the
05:01coach probably just mf'd him and whatever else like i almost thought his post where he actually
05:09wrote some words down was a little more interesting he wrote at the nflpa when members of the union that
05:15is in place to help players is lying withholding information from a player on behalf of the team
05:20alongside a certified agent that's some straight bs some players have no other place to go for
05:25information or help or are relying on the union to help them continue advancing in their careers and
05:30lives i'm sure there are great members of the union so this message does not pertain to them
05:34but about the ones in my specific case one thing that average fans probably don't understand because
05:41you don't need to right this isn't really relevant to you is unions are for the players but far too
05:49often agents have significant control over unions that's the reality because agents are the one
05:55negotiating the contracts they want the they want the union to be built in a certain manner that
06:00helps them negotiate these contracts and to iuk's credit we as of the current reporting he needs to file
06:11a reinstatement letter to the nfl that has not happened when he said he had fired his agent that had
06:17not happened you actually have to submit paperwork to the union to do so that has since happened it
06:22happened over the weekend is the way i understand it uh florio wrote about it for pro football talk
06:26it's called an sra form it's done so at least he's taken that step to formerly get rid of
06:33the previous agent who was a legit real agent like athletes first is probably second biggest nfl agency
06:41maybe third but they're big they're legit yeah david muligheta is kind of the star there but they
06:46have a number of legit big time agents and um muligheta was not the agent in question here
06:52i just his confidence level that he's going to land in washington remains so incredibly high
07:04that i'm not so sure i can agree with it because as much as he and jayden have this long
07:10-standing
07:11relationship and close friendship and as much as adam peters was there when the niners drafted
07:17scouted brain and iuke like he's he watched iuke develop into a a one-time second team all pro wide
07:24receiver he also knows the people involved now and listen i'm ap and dq are on opposite sides of our
07:34great country right now enjoying some vacation but like they're seeing this yeah of course there's no
07:40way they're not and i just i don't know what if any impact it's making yeah i mean it's tough
07:46because
07:47for me i'm not a huge fan of their receiver room as it's currently constituted behind terry mclaurin
07:54even though you could talk me into any one of a number of guys potentially having a good year
07:58i just don't feel all that confident so i actually think if brandon iuke is healthy and can play football
08:03he would really help this offense out at the same point he's just looks so crazy but
08:09listening more to that video jp if he would have started with that i think we're having a
08:14different conversation like i don't think the niners are blameless in this now both sides are
08:20well within their right doing some of the stuff that they're doing like if you want to play petty
08:23on the niner side you want to play petty on the iuke side you can do that and we're seeing
08:27that play
08:27out right now in front of us but if he would have at least explained some of this stuff before
08:31and then he's doing the little a boys and those sorts of things like maybe it's a little bit
08:36different but him acting crazy and then finally explaining himself after weeks and weeks of
08:40putting out stupid videos i think has gotten a little bit old so i don't know like i don't think
08:46the niners are blameless in this and i do think that they deserve some of the stuff in here but
08:50with the way that iuke is acting i mean the commanders are in a tough spot jp because if you
08:56act immediately if you're the commander say he gets released right at the beginning of training camp
09:00and he signed two days later i mean the amount of people they're gonna be like well let's check out
09:04make sure there was no tampering because brandon iuke was saying the entire time he was signing
09:08with this team like make sure adam peters wasn't in contact at all during the time that he was with
09:13the niners like it's just putting the commanders in a really tough spot even if they wanted to sign
09:17him and we can talk about whether they should know we've had that discussion plenty over the last
09:21couple of weeks but it just puts them in a really tough spot when you're consistently doing this stuff
09:26and then also putting on the facade that you're essentially part of the commanders already when you're not
09:31right now matt mayoko covers the niners has for a long time nbc sports bay area does a great job
09:37matt's a friend i i i know where his reporting comes from um he recorded a podcast late last week
09:44i think
09:44when he got back from italy and said a number of interesting things i'm quoting now from matt mayoko
09:50the 49ers have an incredible opening to go after the money they already paid brandon i don't know the
09:55exact numbers that they will be able to get back but i would put it somewhere between 13.8 million
10:00and 18.4 million whatever it may be the 49ers are certainly going after that money
10:08maybe iuke knows that and that's why he made the cinematic video throwing the money on the ground
10:14i think he's made it clear that relationship is fractured to say the least he's not going back
10:21there the audacity to say the only time i'm coming back is when i'm playing for washington
10:25on monday night football when they play the niners october 19th to me seems a tad aggressive
10:31um again from mayoko he's talking about the day the 49ers release him he'll be signing with the
10:36commanders the next day i just can't imagine them going all in for brandon and for him to say he
10:41will sign with the commanders is he just speculating because one of his very good friends jaden daniels
10:46is the quarterback of the commanders i don't know i don't think it's out of the realm of possibility
10:51or out of the question that brandon iuke has played his final nfl game i recall two years ago when
10:57they were going through this contract negotiation there were people within the organization who
11:01thought brandon iuke didn't want to play football anymore because the 49ers had given him an offer
11:05he sat on it and didn't get back to them and the relationship seemed really seemed to be fractured
11:10at that point where the niners really weren't sure where brandon iuke's mind was and where his urgency was
11:16now i i think i you could push back on that significantly that his mind was i can't play for
11:23you guys anymore you have wronged me you have wronged me in a way that does not allow me to
11:30enjoy football for you that doesn't mean he can't enjoy football anymore but i do agree
11:38i don't know what will happen anymore i have i have suggested throughout that i still think he ends up
11:43in washington it's gotten more complicated 100 and i don't know where the hell this thing's going
11:52honestly and we're in this like as as the world turns waiting for the next video and if he's saying
12:00i'm not going back to that facility until i'm playing for washington he has to go back to force
12:07them to cut him yeah and they're clearly going to do the staring contest which they're doing right now
12:13like they'll continue to just say all right well we can continue to screw you because you screwed us
12:18and they're just going to continue going back and forth with this until brandon iuke forces their
12:22hand by going back to the facility and it just sounds like he's not interested in doing that so
12:26i mean the niners love doing this now other players have been able to get past it and be more
12:32professional
12:32and understand the business side of football a little bit better they've done it with trent they've done
12:37it with debo obviously they did it with iu they've done it with just about all of their star players
12:43like they do this and we saw it here with adam peters he brought a little bit of that tactic
12:47here
12:47last year with terry mclaurin so that is something you can do you just have to understand that not
12:52everybody and this is part of knowing the guys that you're bringing into an organization this is why
12:57when you're drafting guys or signing different players this is why it's so important to know the
13:01person and not just the football player because we're not playing madden here this is real life
13:05but clearly brandon iuke did not handle that tough negotiation very well and things went sour
13:12after that so he's a good football player when he plays but that's the other part of this too is
13:17he
13:17hasn't played in essentially two football seasons hadn't played since october of 24 so even assuming he
13:24does get released and comes over here george kittle said that he saw him last year at the facility he
13:28was
13:28running and stopping on a dime doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to step out there and still be
13:32the same football player so you hope that he is but you don't know so it's just a it's a
13:36weird
13:37situation and for him to continue putting out different videos you know maybe if it were just
13:41stuff trashing the niners the entire time that's one thing but for him to now start including the
13:46commanders in these sorts of things wearing a hat you know holding a football saying uh get your season
13:51tickets to come watch me at you know northwest stadium or whatever like i think it's just getting a
13:55little bit too close to the commanders to feel comfortable with that i don't know what do you
14:02think happens i think he'll play here i think he'll end up here i don't know what the timeline is
14:07i mean
14:07this is just a what we see strange situations across the nfl it seems like every offseason this is one
14:13of
14:13the strangest ones 800-636-1067 800-636-1067 uh another round of brandon iuke videos this time actually
14:23providing some information on why things went so sideways i to me my my guess is whatever the
14:30conversation was with kyle that went so wrong and maybe it was a series of conversations had the
14:35biggest impact and then lynch iuke said texted his wife and tried to come by the house i'm not taking
14:43anyone's side here but i my guess is like my gut feel is that the gm of the organization knows
14:50his coach
14:51can run hot knows maybe his coach crossed some boundaries was trying to get a hold of iuke i've
14:57heard this from people that know things they were trying to get a hold of iuke he was not responsive
15:01so lynch is probably like all right i'm just gonna go by his house see if i can talk to
15:05him
15:05and then he texted his wife like i'm married none of you guys are i guess white brian is like
15:14when you
15:15hear somebody texting your wife your initial reaction is like what the leap that that's just being a
15:20married dude now i also know in the nfl that's not that uncommon because a lot of times the families
15:28are removed from the players and the players don't have their phones they can only access them at
15:34certain points and like they will text other people in the facility i've had players wives text me during
15:39games about injury stuff and they see their husband get hurt they're like hey what do you know does he
15:44seem okay so like there is some level of intermediary texting if you will surrounding the nfl just
15:52because you don't always have direct access i'm not condoning or saying that's appropriate in this
15:58situation but my guess is lynch was trying to get a hold of iuke and and was not able to
16:05do so in any
16:05fashion and that's why he was going to the house my my gut tells me the beef here started far
16:11more with
16:11kyle and 100 and i mean you cover the sport closer than i do jp but for some players it's
16:18still like
16:19they enjoy the sport and everything they enjoy they don't enjoy the business aspect and some of
16:22the relationship aspect of it they want to show up they want to play ball and so this idea that
16:28you
16:28know brandon iuke unplugged a little bit when he's not at the facility or around i don't think that's
16:33that uncommon right like there are certain players you know if you're a quarterback or something like
16:36that you know the guys try to get in touch with you and all those sorts of things but
16:40it's not that uncommon i wouldn't say it's not like everybody in the league does this but for
16:44if you're not at the facility you're not the easiest to get in contact with like there are
16:48certain guys that that's how they operate it sounds like that's how iuke was so in this situation i don't
16:54know that john lynch is wrong for saying hey i'm trying to get in touch and try to smooth this
16:58out
16:58i also don't know specifics right yeah and i also don't know that brandon iuke is wrong in this
17:02certain scenario where don't pull up to my house right leave me alone right he's entirely within his
17:08rights if he's like yo don't come to my house don't text my wife get the hell out of my
17:12life
17:13yes like you are allowed to feel that way yeah i i am glad that there's some information this is
17:20something that we can at least discuss before it's like oh i'm not playing with them i don't mess with
17:25them like okay that's annoying tell us what happened this at least gives you an idea of what is
17:29happening and it can you know depending upon how you feel still like it can at least give you some
17:34context to the reason why brandon iuke feels the way that he does and makes you at least understand
17:39like whether you agree with the way that he's going about it or not there's a reason for some
17:44of his actions whether it's good or not here's what i want to do i want to open the phones
17:48800-636-1067
17:50800-636-1067 for a while we were saying these videos aren't helping anything now there's been some
17:58level of explanation does that change how you feel about brandon iu coming to the commanders do you
18:03think it's more likely less likely do you believe some of these reports out of the bay area that
18:08they're they're not even sure he wants to be playing football he sure as hell seems to want
18:12to play football for the commanders your calls next 800-636-1067 800-636-1067
18:19what's up
