00:00PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang has dismissed claims that the rift between PAS and Bersatu
00:07was merely a tactic designed to boost Perikatan Nasional's electoral prospects in Jopur.
00:13He told Utusan Malaysia that Bersatu was insisting on contesting under the PN logo,
00:18with PAS also committed to the coalition's symbol.
00:22Hadi said both parties will campaign independently,
00:25with Bersatu likely to have its own strategy for the state polls.
00:30He was responding to claims that the PAS-Bersatu rift was merely a pretense,
00:34with some speculating that they would mend ties to strengthen PN's chances at the polls.
