00:00Perhaps one of the most important moments in adult life,
00:02It's that moment when you stop judging your parents for everything they haven't done or
00:05poorly done.
00:06and where you realize that the story you saw in black and white with your child's eyes,
00:09It has always been in shades of grey.
00:11When you're little, you think that being an adult necessarily means that you're supposed to be responsible and
00:14to have understood everything about life.
00:15But when you reach adulthood yourself, you realize how utterly untrue that is.
00:19that in reality everyone is completely improvising day to day and doing what they can
00:22to get out of it.
00:23That's when you start to understand that your parents also did their best with the cards.
00:26that life has given them
00:30dealing with the adult world's problems alongside your education.
00:32You realize that perhaps your father or mother endured hellish working days,
00:36how cruel the adult world can be, how hard it is to manage a relationship
00:40in love.
00:40You begin to realize the magnitude of everything they had to manage on a daily basis: the stress, the financial pressure,
00:44all kinds of hardships.
00:45In fact, becoming an adult means stepping through the looking glass and realizing that not everything is justified.
00:50No, but everything is an explanation.
00:52So if you're lucky enough to still have your parents and, despite their imperfections, you still care about
00:55them,
00:56Share this video with them because we spend so many years criticizing them for everything they've done.
00:59of evil,
00:59that we forget that if in the end we haven't turned out so badly in reality, it's
01:03largely thanks to them.
