00:13What I find with Blender, the newer it gets, the worst it gets, just so you understand that.
00:23What I'm trying to do, I'm trying to, if you tap down the sidebar here, we should be able to
00:28install the Blender Toolkit.
00:31The Blender Toolkit is a way of looking at the other subscribers and looking at the items, just in case
00:39you're interested.
00:40How easy is it to do that? Well, normally, I'll show you, you go to 8, Preferences.
00:47And inside Preferences, you press on Allons. You can go to your downloads. Open it.
00:56Now of course, inside your downloads, when you download the Blender Kit.
01:01The newest Blender Kit, at the moment, is 3, 2, 1. That's the new one. So we click that.
01:10It says here, you can leave standard defaults. And you can grab here, look, you've got legacy, so just leave
01:16it standard and say install.
01:18And it goes, Blender says, what's that? That's not my file. Come on, Blender. Click this, go install.
01:26Let's install this version. Now these two I know work, because they work on 3.6.4 and they work
01:33on Blender 4.1.1. Let's click that.
01:37Blender says, nope, I don't want that one either. Well, come on, Blender, enter your files. Go here. Go here.
01:45Go here. Go here.
01:46That's all the older version. Let's install that. And great. So if there's any users who are using Blender 5
01:58.2.0.
02:02You might not be able to get yourself some clicks on the actual software. Because as you can see, it
02:10doesn't matter what you do, you can't install the plugins.
02:15Like what? I'll say, look, go here. Preferences. And then the only thing you have to do is go to
02:21add-ons. Go here. You download it and you install it.
02:26I'll say, you've got three different versions. One of them should work. Let's see if we can actually install the
02:32V-Ray add-on. Let's try that.
02:37Okay. And we can't even install the V-Ray add-on. I mean, come on, Blender. What kind of software
02:45is that?
02:45And then they've got the cheat to turn around and say, oh, make a donation. What? Make a donation to
02:52something that don't even actually work?
02:55You say, well, the software works great. Yeah, the software does work great. Sometimes. Unless you watch my videos.
03:02And yeah, Blender makes you look absolutely silly. And here's another little bonus for you about this version.
03:09Go here. Preferences. Check this out. If you go to add-ons, check out your add-ons.
03:17There's absolutely nothing inside it, really. Okay. Now, you see here, you've got the Glyph letters, which is great.
03:26But how about if you're making a game and you want to export the FBX? Well, where is it? It's
03:35not here.
03:35How about the QBJ files? Nope, not here either. How about the 3DS files? Nope, they're not here.
03:46I mean, if you look at all of the things that you can import and export in Blender, version, let's
03:52say, 364.
03:53Yeah, you've got a massive big list. In today's Blender, yeah, you've got almost absolutely nothing.
04:01Hey, Blender, you're doing an absolutely fantastic job. You really are. You're making your software not terrible.
04:09Now, how do I say it? Yeah, let me follow your version of Blender, and I'll show you. We're far

04:17Now, don't forget, the one that's on the screen, I'll show you them at a moment. Okay, this one here,
04:23this version here, is 364, right?
04:28Let me just move off the screen a little bit. Now, if I go here and go to Preferences, look
04:33at this. Look at all of this.
04:38Now, this is 364. This is the reason why I use 364. Because, yeah, it supports a whole lot more
04:46of the items, these are animals.
04:49And, if you look in here, if you look, it even supports the new version of the Blender Online assets.
05:00Yes, it works. I mean, great.
05:03So, yeah, I just thought, today, I will make a change on the video, and I will try to do
05:08Blender 5.2.
05:13Yes, Blender, look at that menu. There's nothing there. You can't even scroll with it. It's that small.
05:20Blender, that's absolutely terrible. It really is. And, yeah, the most important part about this, apart from you can't really
05:28export too much on a Blender,
05:31unless it's a Glyph file. We've got to avoid that because I use Glyph files.
05:36You can't look at the users. I mean, yeah, that's definitely going to be a big no-no once the
05:44users realise that this version
05:47don't give anybody access to their files. Yeah, great. Blender, you need to sort it out.
