00:00so i do have to ask about britney i am the biggest britney spears fan ever she is my heart
00:05soul and
00:05spirit and i'm just very curious about this one specific moment from social media where she showed
00:11you a song called lonely from her third studio album britney and she was singing it for you and
00:15she was talking about how proud she was of that song because she was able to be like sort of
00:20more
00:20creatively in control during that phase in her career what do you remember from that moment and
00:24sort of like going through her discography with her and did do you have like favorite britney
00:28spirit songs now that you didn't know before you were with her you know i didn't really know her
00:33music yeah um before that just because it was like a chick flick you know and me i was listening
00:38to like
00:40tupac and eminem and and 50 cent and all these that was like i was trying to be this you
00:45know that's
00:46why i didn't know much of it and i didn't know about pop culture what what it meant to the
00:50world and and
00:51the second then i realized what these songs actually meant and why people resonated with
00:58it and why they were icons like michael jackson madonna and her you know king of pop queen of
01:04pop and princess of pop then i understood and it made me appreciate the the music even more
01:09um i just loved the way that she was able to like go to through different eras and i love
01:17artists that
01:17are able to evolve and and change and change skins and i think she did that great with you know
01:22with
01:23her first album coming out as an innocent girl then you know blackout and and all those things as
01:28as like quick shift and was very iconic throughout it right and uh sort of created a blueprint that
01:35nobody after that has ever really accomplished and i mean we see some artists now that are trying to
01:40do it but it's just not it's not ever going to happen every pop girl like whether they know it
01:46or
01:46not they're inspired by britney spears yes and whether they don't say it either yeah they don't
01:51say it but but but when it comes to you know i've always been supportive for everything that she did
01:56that she wanted to do because at the end of the day the artist is supposed to express themselves
02:00in their own way and i think once you're one of those people that you're titled to be the princess
02:07of
02:07pop you can say some something and it's going to become iconic right
