00:00A Penn State frat bro is facing some serious drug charges after cops picked him up for allegedly
00:04running a cocaine crime ring out of his fraternity house. And you're not going to believe the
00:10boneheaded mistake that cops say got the suspect caught. In 2023, police in State College were
00:16tipped off to the alleged drug ring by an informant who said a guy going by the nickname
00:21T-Rob was selling a whole lot of cocaine on campus through the Delta Upsilon frat house.
00:27T-Rob, it turns out, was less drug kingpin and more pinhead because the informant also told cops
00:34that T-Rob accepted payment for the illegal drugs through Venmo using the name Tom Robinson. It
00:41didn't exactly take a lot of detective work for police to identify a student by the name of
00:46Thomas Robinson who had an address at the Delta Upsilon fraternity house. That's not all. When
00:52authorities raided the actual frat house, old T-Rob allegedly resisted arrest because he thought
00:58the officers were fake. Yeah, he thought the whole thing was a prank by his fraternity brothers and
01:03ended up having to be tased. The evidence showed that cocaine was primarily packaged at the fraternity
01:10houses and that packaging was done by fraternity brothers and oftentimes pledges. Now, police say
01:16they found cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills, and a handgun in his room. Now, Robinson's arrest
01:22then led to the arrest of 13 others allegedly involved in this big Penn State drug ring.
