00:04I want to reassure the community that we take family violence seriously every day of the year.
00:11We are already looking at ways to share information, not only with NSW Police and other police
00:18jurisdictions, but within ACT policing to ensure that family violence offenders are
00:24held to account regardless of where they live and victim survivors are protected.
00:30As part of this operation, we've taken steps to improve our response to family violence.
00:37In the ACT, we have updated offenders, vehicle registration details, so if they're stopped by police,
00:45for whatever reason, we can see that they have conditions not to contact their victim
00:50and ensure that there is no one else in the vehicle who is not supposed to be there.
00:56The community can be ensured that there is zero tolerance for domestic and family violence in the ACT and NSW.
