00:00Bersama's biggest challenge is convincing voters that it can win elections
00:04rather than getting them to accept the party, according to party leader Rafizi Ramli.
00:10Rafizi said some voters liked Bersama's ideas but were hesitant to back a new party
00:15against more established political blocs.
00:18He noted that even voters unhappy with Pakatan Harapan might still support the coalition
00:23because they doubt Bersama has enough strength to defeat it.
00:27Rafizi added that he had encountered non-Malay voters who were dissatisfied with PH, DAP and PKR
00:34but feared that supporting Bersama would split the vote.
00:37He acknowledged that overcoming perceptions about the party's electoral chances would take time.
00:43Meanwhile, party co-leader Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad identified Selangor as a potential battleground,
00:48pointing to its urban and highly educated electorate as an opportunity for Bersama.
00:53Nik Nazmi maintained that the party wanted to contest independently as far as possible
00:59and avoid being tied to other political parties.
