00:00This is the Garmin Circa Smartband. After weeks and months of rumours, it's finally here.
00:05The Garmin Circa is Garmin's screenless fitness tracker.
00:08It's rival to trackers like the Whoop and the Google Fitbit Air.
00:11It's packing Garmin's Elevate V4 heart rate sensor, a tactile button on the side for easy
00:16starting and stopping of workouts, automatic activity tracking, and 10 days of battery life.
00:21It looks good in four colours. Size-wise, it's in between the Whoop 5.0 and the Fitbit Air,
00:26and it's mostly subscription-free. Like Google Fitbit Air, you can get along just fine on the
00:31free tier, but certain features, like Garmin Coach, are locked behind Garmin's Kinect Plus paywall.
00:37I wanted to know how accurate it was, so compared it to the Polar H10 electrical heart rate monitor
00:41during a short workout at this launch event, and it cleaved very closely to the Polar's data,
00:46with both devices showing just 2 BPM difference in my average heart rate.
00:50I'll be testing it fully over the next week, so stay glued to TechRadar's socials for my full review.
