The name of the border is the “Christian Republic”, born in February 1973.I would say that most people prefer their first LP over the second. I might differ on that note only due to the fact as there is far more diversity on the second over the first record. Not that either characteristic is a fault, just a matter of choice and opinion. I believe the band sounds much more mature and not so 'stuck in a rut'. I believe this to be a good things as also they could have (had they stayed on longer) become stereo-typed whereas that second LP branches out further and proves the band to be able to go beyond 3 part harmonies and an acoustic guitar per say.Revup67 Feb 28 2009Not as promminent as their debut, but still a fantastic folk rock album.
The vocal harmonies got better here, male and female alike, and the acoustic songs have a strong presence and melodies.
