00:02Yeah, I mean, I think when you look at it, you know, you want to look at the young guys,
00:06obviously, who are playing for the Patriots.
00:08Caleb Lomu's out there.
00:10Gabe Ackes is out there.
00:11Eli Raritan is out there.
00:13I thought there were some positives.
00:15You know, Raritan, I really liked.
00:16Obviously, the play got called back.
00:17But you can see where he's a guy that maybe you can design some specific plays for,
00:22and he can take advantage of some matchups.
00:25Based on what I watched off the TV copy, you know,
00:27I haven't gone back and looked at it Bedard style yet.
00:30But Lomu was okay.
00:33I didn't think he was great.
00:35Obviously, he had the penalty.
00:37I thought they were calling that a little tight in terms of ineligible man downfield.
00:41But I also thought there were some times that he gave up some pressures.
00:46Ackes, to me, I know a lot of people are trying to give him credit
00:49for the pressure on that first interception.
00:51To me, he was blocked.
00:52I mean, he was bad footwork by Anthony Richardson,
00:55and the guy should have caught the ball.
00:56The throw was right there.
00:57I'm not really co-signing on giving him any credit for the pressure on that.
01:03I thought I made a point of trying to watch him as often as I could
01:08and zero in on him during the game when he had a great run stop
01:12where he really set the edge so well.
01:14And you can see why they like him.
01:16I mean, he's strong.
01:17He's fast.
01:18He looks the part.
01:19They just need to work with him on more of a pass rush plan
01:22because, to me, when I watch him pass rush,
01:25it's like if the initial move doesn't work
01:28and the moves are speed rush, bull rush,
01:30that seems to be really all he's going with.
01:33He just doesn't have a counter.
01:34There's not really much else there.
01:37So if that's someone you're going to count on to consistently get pressure
01:40on the quarterback, he needs further development.
01:43And I know he missed a lot of time, so you've got to give him some grace there.
01:46But I think he's a work in progress as a pass rusher
01:50because he just doesn't seem to have really a lot of moves or a lot of counters.
01:54He's just, I'm going to run you over.
01:56And that's great when you can run over the, you know, defensive ends coach.
02:00But it's going to be a lot harder to run through NFL offensive tackles.
02:05He needs more of a pass rush plan.
