00:00Inquiries continued into the manufacturing of 3D printed parts in the
00:04Moree region. Yesterday saw the culmination of those investigations. Police
00:11from the drugs and firearms squad in conjunction with the New England Police
00:15District completed a firearms prohibition order compliance check. We also
00:21executed at the time a crime scene warrant at a location in Sunnyside Road
00:26at Moree. During the search police seized a long arm, two pistols, a semi-automatic
00:38privately made firearm, another pistol, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and
00:46equipment related to the manufacture of firearms. A 32-year-old man was arrested
00:52there and he was conveyed to Moree Police Station. About 12 midday yesterday, those
01:02same officers attended a location, a business office in Moree. Soon after, a crime
01:10scene was declared there and at that location officers also located a 3D
01:14printer, digital blueprints and a number of devices also connected to the
01:20manufacturer of firearms. The male at Moree Police Station has been charged with a
01:26range of serious firearm offences. He was refused bail and he appears in local
01:33court this morning.
