00:17So and they barely got by last night against the Kansas City Royals. And now they're activating, you know, now
00:26they're activating another pitcher here who they have not seen.
00:29And when's the last time we saw him? And I think last time we saw Snell, he only lasted an
00:33inning or two anyway and got absolutely crushed.
00:36So what are we thinking here? Walker against Snell. I'm not laying 270 for for the Dodgers. Absolutely not.
00:48Minus 270. Blake Snell has not pitched since May 9th. Yes, the Royals are terrible. We all know this.
00:57Like they are the third worst team in the AL. They're 49 and 71. We know that they're not good.
01:03But to bet on the Dodgers at this price, I think is crazy. Minus 250, minus 270, whatever it is.
01:10To me, this is a game that you have to bet in game. You have to be willing just to

01:16You might as well just take the Royals or pass. That's what it comes down to at a certain point.
01:20I would play the Dodgers maybe closer to even money, maybe minus 150 if I know, you know, the bullpen
01:26is going to get involved.
01:26And Snell's out there and at least control damage, but not at this price.
01:31No. And I'll tell you one even further. I mean, Walker is an under machine.
01:37They never score runs for him, number one. But number two, in the first five, Tom, he always keeps his
01:44team in the games.
01:46He doesn't give up the long ball, gives up a lot of soft contact.
01:50And he is exactly the kind of guy I'll take the half a run in the first five because it
01:56could go one of two ways with Snell.
01:58And for a guy that hasn't pitched as long as he has, I mean, four and a half is the
02:04first five total.
02:07I even Kansas City here, I think it might be a little lower scoring, but I'd rather have the half
02:13a run with a proven pitcher in Walker against the team that is not hitting.
02:19They haven't hit for a while now. The Dodgers, have they, Tom?
02:23They haven't, you know, the under first five, I certainly like that.
02:26If Snell is Blake Snell, then he should be able to limit the Royals to at most one run in
02:31the first five, right?
02:32That's what we should be looking at if he truly is that good or, you know, back into form.

02:43Now, granted, their 12-game lead has dropped to seven and a half or eight or whatever it is right

02:55You know, what are we going to do with Otani?
02:56You know, they've got to deal with the catching situation.

03:00Now Dalton rushing, et cetera.
03:01They're just getting ready for the end of September and October.
03:04I have no interest in backing the Dodgers, really, for any point from now until then,
03:08unless we're getting an in-game price or something that's crazy dramatic, you know, pregame because they called up some
03:14random pitch and we get them at a better price.
03:16That's just how you have to approach the Dodgers now.
03:18Don't lay two and a half.
03:21No way.

03:24That Royals bullpen is horrific, and nobody is arguing with that.
03:29But Walker is not.
03:31And I think he's more than capable.
03:33Plus, he came up in the National League, too, with the Cardinals.
03:36He's more than aware of the Freddie Freemans of the world.
03:40So, yeah, I like the price.
03:43I like the opportunity with the dog.
03:45And then once he comes out in the sixth inning, it's all hell's going to break loose anyway because that
03:49bullpen is atrocious.
