00:00The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reports at least 19 people

00:09Luis, and Tropical Storm Mai Mai. 12 of the recorded deaths are in Benguet due to landslides,
00:15and 4 people died in Rizal and 3 in Batangas. 15 people are also injured and 4 were reported
00:21missing. So far, the government has provided 73.5 million pesos in assistance. Meantime,
00:27the Department of Education reports five young students were among those who died after a
00:31landslide struck Barangay Gisad-Surong in Baguio City. Those who died in the tragedy were two
00:36Grade 7 students from Gisad Valley National High School, a Grade 3 student and a Grade 4 student
00:41from Bonifacio Elementary School, and a student under the Alternative Learning System. On Sunday
00:46evening, August 9, 13 people were buried by thick mud and debris as the Southwest Monsoon
00:51or Habagat-battered areas in Luzon.
