00:00Emily's exhausted but there's still one last stretch to go and there's some special support
00:06awaiting her. Hi Emily. Hearing of her challenge, Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Edinburgh
00:12has come to see this remarkable young lady. You're doing amazingly well. I just did a whole lot of
00:18walking which was tough but I'm proud of myself for getting there. It's called the long walk for
00:23a very good reason and tell me how are your legs feeling right now? I can definitely feel the
00:29tiredness now. It is a very tough place to walk because it's all in a straight line so you can
00:35see it and it doesn't feel like it's getting any shorter. I'm quite a strong-willed person. Whenever
00:42there's a challenge that comes my way I'm always up for it. Do you think a lot of things in
00:46terms of
00:47perception and visibility of disability have changed during your lifetime at all? As I got older
00:53I was more in tune to like the realities of our world. So it's been tough in that sense because
01:01I've had to kind of integrate myself in a society that doesn't necessarily accept people like me.
01:09This is tough. This is really tough. It's getting tough on my legs. Yeah.
01:13I want to show the world that anything's possible. You should be very proud of yourself. It's a huge effort.
01:22That's a long way, Emily. You should be so proud. I am. I am. I really am.
01:27I am.
