00:01Welcome back to Climate Friendly Fridays, and this week we're making granola.
00:05This recipe is good for the planet because the main ingredient is oats,
00:09which are easy to grow and don't use too much water.
00:12Alright, let's get started.
00:14So first up, I'm putting the oats, the walnuts, the coconut flakes, cinnamon, and salt.
00:22All into one bowl.
00:23Then we drizzle the coconut oil, maple syrup, and some almond butter.
00:29Okay, next easy part, just stir it all in together.
00:33Then we're gonna scoop the granola onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
00:37and pop the tray into the oven.
00:39It needs to bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown.
00:44Last, I'm adding some dried cranberries and just letting it cool.
00:49This is such an easy snack to make for when the kids get home from school,
00:53and also a great way to use all those ingredients we have just laying in our pantry.
01:01So keep cutting it out.
01:04We'll see you soon.
