00:00And they got this young kid going.
00:01I was a Christian Scott going tonight.
00:03Do I happen to like, yeah, he's, you know, he, he happens to be pretty good and it ha
00:09it's been a good week for the Mets to, at least offensively, the bats have started to
00:13get going, but they got to start this, uh, you know, week series here.
00:17Bryce elder, who had a stretch there in July was not great, but he has won his last three
00:24and Atlanta quietly having a pretty darn good season at home here.
00:30Truist park has become a very difficult place for people, uh, for teams to come in and beat
00:36Atlanta.
00:37In fact, I think since the all-star game, 12 and two at Truist, uh, and what they do that
00:43you just write that Miami, we saw Washington there, uh, now, uh, the Mets.
00:49So they're 39 and 20 at home, uh, and 15, three and one in home series.
00:55So I didn't realize Truist was that there.
00:58Is it just this year or they always been this good at home?
01:01I mean, the Braves are just good.
01:03So it just feels like it, but the team is good.
01:05So they're just winning games.
01:06And you know, the one player, it seems to me, yeah.
01:10And they lost, uh, you know, the, the, the left-handed guys they have are great.
01:13And then of course they have Iglesias, you know, but the guy to me that's climbing and
01:18he's now in the MVP race, you can see in the national league.
01:21And I don't think he's going to win, but he's in there as Matt Olson, Joe, Matt Olson
01:24is now on an absolute tear.
01:27I mean, he's a homering basically every other day.
01:29It's going to be one of those two guys winning the MVP.
01:32But if, for example, on one of the prediction markets, if you could find Matt Olson and
01:36get in on him, he may end up finishing third or fourth at the end of the season.
01:40He's been that good.
01:41Remember a couple of years ago, Olson had that monster season.
01:43Uh, some people think he could have 50 home runs this year, Joe.
01:46I mean, it's, it's, it would be a little bit of a long shot, but not impossible with
01:50the way that he's hitting the ball.
01:51So, uh, Acuna is back.
01:53He's hitting well.
01:53Riley's been better.
01:55Ozzie Albies does what he does.
01:57They have a really good team.
01:58They didn't, uh, you know, add a ton at the trade deadline.
02:01So they're going to have to hope some of these injured guys come back.
02:03And, you know, naturally, I think the Braves have played themselves into a playoff spot.
02:07What they do with that spot still remains to be seen.
02:10You have to hope if you're a Braves fan at the, at truest and at the end of the season,
02:14they look good a couple of years ago.
02:16Remember they took their foot off the pedal a little bit, started taking some players
02:19out, didn't play.
02:20And then immediately when the playoff started, they didn't play well.
02:22So I would think that they'll change that approach this year.
