00:10think I'm gradually getting better and I think I've got the kitchen to thank for that. Hi my
00:15name is Lydia Bright and this is my house where I live with my beautiful daughter Loretta and we
00:21live in sunny old Essex. I have lived in this home for I think it's around about nine years and
00:35when I
00:36found out I was pregnant I was like I can't move out of this house but it was too small
00:42so I decided
00:43to do a massive home renovation whilst I was pregnant but I finally feel like it is my
00:51paradise. My palace is perfect and it is the beautiful home that I'm gonna raise my daughter in.
01:04There's a Wren store that's quite close to my home and I remember seeing it every time I was driving
01:09past. I saw a lot of the advertisements on social media. Friends as well had used Wren and so I
01:17knew
01:18that they were trusted to go with and then when I went into the store and visited I had a
01:23little
01:23look around at the different bays on what Wren could offer and some of the things were very modern
01:29some of the things were a little bit more traditional and then I sat with a designer who came up
01:34with this
01:34beautiful design. The design team were just really great in ensuring that every part of the kitchen was
01:41utilized in the right way so I've got really cool storage design solutions. I decided to settle on
01:51the shaker style cupboards just because I think that they look very traditional but then I did add
01:56a modern touch with the quartz worktop. I used to have wood before and it was so hard to clean
02:04this is just a
02:06godsend. It is so easy keeping it clean keeping it crisp keeping it fresh I can host loads of stuff
02:18in
02:18these cupboards that was really important for me to have more storage obviously having a baby
02:23they just take up so much space I don't know how something so little can have so much so yeah
02:30now I've
02:31got a lot more storage and and it just looks prettier I had an island here which closed the
02:37room up that's what I really loved about the Wren design team as well because they showed me
02:43graphically on a computer all the different options I could have and I could never envision having my
02:51kitchen without the island and when they removed it I was like gosh that just frees up so much space
02:58and just makes it look a lot more open when it came to design in my kitchen the designer turned
03:06around and said you know what is the purpose of you doing this renovation I said well look at my
03:11stomach I'm pregnant I'm with child and he suggested having an induction cooker instead and I'm just so
03:19much happier that I've got that because it's safe with baby and also apparently they're better for the
03:24environment so we're the winner so the communication from start to finish was just amazing I was
03:33always kept up to date with things like delivery times you know next stages next steps and it just
03:41took the stress out of everything for me especially because I had so much going on with the rest of
03:46the
03:46house this in comparison to anything else was just seamless obviously like everyone I have been in my
03:56house a lot during 2020 and this kitchen actually got finished just before lockdown I was so lucky and
04:05it's meant that I've really got to enjoy it it's lovely having the baby playing on her play mat with
04:10her
04:10toys and being in here doing food prep she's now eating solids so I'm weaning her so you know I
04:18have the
04:18blender going and she's sitting there playing it's just the dream
04:24I would definitely recommend Ren as a company and I actually have recommended them to my friends that live down
04:29the bottom of the road I'm at that stage in my life where all my friends around me are having
04:34children
04:34buying their adult homes doing home refurbs and yeah I recommend Ren to everyone just because it was such a
04:42great
04:42service for me I love the design and it's just took the hassle out of everything so yeah I would
04:49recommend it to you guys as well
