00:00It's such an honour to be with everyone this afternoon and you know Eugene and I have been
00:03a part of the Teenage Cancer Trust family now for our entire lives.
00:07We're just interested to know I guess how Covid has affected your treatment or how you've been
00:14feeling sort of with the pandemic. It's completely different, it's affected
00:19pretty much everything. I've had treatment push back because I'm going to be receiving a
00:24stem cell transplant. Like with my treatment it's been because it started before lockdown,
00:28it started in October. It's been hard to shield because I have to come into the hospital several
00:33times a week. I think that can add to that anxiety I suppose. The Teenage Cancer Trust are doing so
00:40much to be able to bring people together but you know it must have been quite a challenge.
00:46We transferred 100% of our working week onto a digital platform. Wow. So we've been able to run
00:55quizzes, music tuition, one-to-ones. We've had literally everything you can think of.
01:00I really enjoyed the things they've put on. Actually taking part, it's been a lot of fun.
01:05You actively look forward to it as well. There's so much more to what they do as well because when
01:11I was really struggling a few weeks ago I remember just messaging Steve and being like oh my god what
01:14do I do, who do I go to. From there I've had so much help. Over the years of the
01:18journeys of the
01:20organisation it's remarkable to see the individuals that are a part of Teenage Cancer Trust being able
01:25to deliver 100% of their working week to carry on that support. It's remarkable. By even sharing
01:31this story now is really quite cool and I think you can continue to do that day to day with
01:37what
01:37you've gone through. So thank you from me.
