02:24of dollars fixing that situation, after all, it was a $2.2 billion stadium, I would suggest
02:31that the bills offer the people in those areas that are not happy to simply pay them their
02:37money back, maybe even within trust.
02:39I see in May or so of this year, there was like a waiting list of 2,000 people.
02:44I trust somebody would buy those seats, and you just put the people back in the waiting
02:49list.
02:49I'm sure once that stadium opened and people get a really good view of it, you're going
02:56to have a lot more potential season ticket buyers down the road.
02:59Again, it's kind of cold, but at this point, I mean, what are you going to do for this season?
03:04Well, that's interesting, and if I'm a fan, it doesn't really sit that well either, because

04:12not go to the practice on Saturday.
04:16However, the person that did go told me they got drenched, even though we were told during
04:21the stadium experience that our seats were covered.

04:23Yeah, I guess that's just the bullet we're going to have to take.
04:26You know, when I went to that stadium experience, you know, I didn't, you know, record everything
04:30the salesperson said.
04:31You know, I didn't take it as gospel.
04:33I assumed that the Buffalo Bills were operating in good faith, you know, so, you know, if you
04:38promise me something or allude to something and you don't deliver, you know, you should
04:42probably try some sort of ways to make it better.
04:45You know, whether it be a refund or allow me to move to a different seat, something of that
04:49nature.
04:49Because what you're really doing is you're kind of killing the trust with the community.
04:54It feels like I'm buying a car from a used salesman, and, you know, I drive five miles
04:58down the road and it breaks down.
04:59So that's just my own opinion on that.
05:01Then the other thing as well is for the abstracted view, you know, not just for the build game,
05:06but what does that look like for the mythical Taylor Swift concert that everyone says is coming
05:10up at this point in time?
05:12You know, what's that going to look like?

05:15Yeah, yeah, I mean, it's not something we need to really tackle now, and not that you'll
05:21even be able to be guaranteed your seat for a Taylor Swift concert.
05:27I think there's just different that we I think we had like a lot of arguing about that a few
05:31weeks ago about what what does the PSL actually grant you bills related events, you have your
05:38seat other events, they'll try to accommodate you, but there's no guarantee, like big concerts
05:43come through those tickets are might just be available to the general public.
05:48You know, so that's, that's how that goes.
05:53As far as the canopy goes, I felt like all along, they were telling you it's not guaranteed to
06:01protect you.
06:02I think if you really listen, it wasn't like a seller.

06:07You're like, oh, you're still gonna get drenched.
06:10But I think if you know, if you live here, if you know the way the weather, especially
06:14if you like been out there, like the direction the weather normally comes from, what side
06:20of Joe was talking about this, like that they, they tried to get on the side opposite, like
06:28sort of the way the weather comes in, because one side of the stadium was relatively dry during
06:33that downpour, and the other side got drenched, because the it came in at an angle. So if you're
06:39on the side where the canopy, you're under the canopy, and it's coming at an angle, you're
06:44protected. But if you're under the canopy, and you're over there, and it's coming at an angle,
06:47you're getting nailed. That's just, I mean, you don't have a dome. So Doppler Joe, right,

07:00a weather professional explain it more thoroughly. But I think the weather usually blows in from the

07:52problem was that the Bills oversold the stadium. And what I mean by that is, it's just, it's,
08:00it's nice. But I, you know, when they were selling it, it's like they were selling it as a soccer
08:04stadium. They were going to turn it into a football stadium. And it's, you know, until you see a game
08:10in it, which is fine. It just, it's not what they sold it as. And, and the, you know, I
08:18went around
08:19taking pictures. I took 53 pictures with my phone from five o'clock till 623. And guess how many of
08:28the
08:28New Jersey's I counted and all these pictures I went through with my wife, um, of the New
08:34Jersey's. Guess how many of the New Jersey's I counted? You mean in the crowd you're talking
08:39about? In the crowd, walking around. I walked around the 100 concourse, uh, three times taking
08:45pictures of all the, you know, the different, uh, the tables. I don't really want to guess
08:49because I can't tell if it's going to be egregiously low or egregiously high. So just tell
08:53us almost none, almost none. I got four, four. Well, one was a 12 year old and the other three
09:00were the bills quarterbacks. And I'm not joking. There was not any of those nickel city jerseys
09:07there. I don't like them at all, but you know, in fairness, you guys said that they're just
09:12out, but you wouldn't buy any for your kids. So who do you think is going to buy these jerseys?
09:16Other people who like them more than I do. I mean, they're, they're just out. You're talking
09:21about getting in the stadium the minute it opened. You're not going to see many fans
09:24wearing jerseys that were just announced two weeks ago. If even that, how long ago even
09:29was it? So I'm not sure that's such a scientific. Yeah. Not that you're saying it is. Right.
09:35I mean, no, I mean the jerseys are not popular and that's something that isn't like having
09:43a slab of concrete in front of your face because that will come and go. Right. Those
09:49things, this other thing may not. But it's been a, it's been a, it's been a rough summer. It's
09:56been bumpy here. I mean, we had the, there was, you, you weren't, I think you were away for,
10:02for most of it. I was at my father-in-law's birthday. Uh, did he turn 80? That's good for
10:07him. Um, you know, the, the, this event, the blue and red PSL holders first dibs and then,
10:15okay, well we should have another one of those. And then some PSL holders, I guess,
10:21I mean, it all felt like just a bunch of bad actors to me, but there was a controversy about
10:25that. Right. Oh, I bought a PSL. Now you're having an event. You don't need a PSL. We'll
10:30get in the stadium. Like, Oh my God. Right. That, that happened. Then this, the, the Jersey
10:35things has been like warring factions of the fan base, throwing rocks and bottles at one
10:41another. And now this piece is, is another piece it's for, for as excited as everyone
10:48usually is about a new Jersey that was divisive. And now this, I think the vast majority of people
10:56did have a positive experience at the stadium. Sounds like it. Um, and you know, good for
11:02them. Um, I, I usually want to stick up for the people who are in the minority. If they're
11:08being, if they are actually being taken advantage of what, what I think we have trouble deciphering
11:14here is just to what level you may have been taken advantage of or misled or, or what, like,
11:20like I said, sometimes when you're in that moment and the bank account is full and you want to be
11:26like Mr. Prideful or Mrs. Prideful bills fan, I got the opportunity to do this. I'm going to do it.
11:32You get presented with the obstacles and you can just kind of make it right in your head. Okay.
11:37Oh, that's fine. I'll stay. Oh, it's only that one corner. Fine. And you just get past it. And
11:42then two years go by and then bam, wait, what did we pay for these? Why, what have I got
11:48going on
11:48here? Uh, what happens when people are, they have ushers that usually keep you from entering a
11:54section during play, right? Like that's been, that's hockey and football. That's like a tradition,
11:58right? You don't, you, it's gotta be a timeout for you to go to the concession stand or the bathroom
12:04room or whatever. You're coming back. You gotta wait for a stoppage. Um, but people leaving the
12:10section, there's no governor on that. There's no usher to stop that. And so you're going to have
12:17people walking there. They might stop on that. I heard someone make this point to Brad on the show
12:22before ours. You're, you're, you're on that stairwell. You're on that landing. A play happens.
12:28You stop for a moment to watch the play and the people that are sitting there that are obstructed
12:34by the stairwell to begin with are not obstructed by you. There's no controlling that. I don't think,
12:40um, you gotta go, you gotta go. Right. So then you gotta stop. Where did I start? Then you have
12:45to go. Where I started was it's been a bumpy, it's been a, it's been a bumpy launch to a
12:50lot of this
12:51stuff here. Yeah. Um, I would say respectfully to the last caller, like that claimed the bills
12:57oversold the stadium, you know, in terms of how it was hyped. Maybe, I don't know. Soccer stadium,
13:03football stadium. I think basically it seems, it seems consistent to me, how it was talked about
13:09and how people got excited for it was consistent and it was reasonable the whole time. I mean,
13:13I didn't go Saturday and maybe I would have gone and taken 53 pictures of fans and been upset,
13:17but really oversold. I mean, it's this, it's a masterpiece mostly if this one quote glitch,
13:25uh, changes that so be it. And then did they need to mislead people in an effort to sell
13:32these seats? Did they need to like, were they not going to sell? Well, I don't know this answer.
13:37Maybe I should like, what kind of pressure did the bills feel if it's correct, if it's fair to say
13:44that they weren't necessarily forthcoming at all turns about these obstructed view seats? Is it because
13:50they didn't think they could sell them honestly, or something like that? It seemed to me that there
13:56was enough excitement and appetite for all this, that they should have felt like they could have
14:01done it, but I don't know just what level of a problem they saw it as. Um, and you know,
14:08not that
14:09it would be one way for everybody, just like there isn't exactly one response to what it was like to
14:16sit
14:16there. Tens of thousands of these meetings with fans to, to go through that. So, I mean, I don't
14:21know. I, there's no way for us to know me to know what everyone was told. A couple of different
14:26people have told me that they were like told it's a rendering. It's not going to be that bad. You
14:34kind of don't worry about it, uh, to some extent. And like I told you earlier, one of my friends
14:41that
14:41was told that was skeptical and just kept at them to like move, he just moved around a bunch. I
14:48finally got to a spot where it felt comfortable that I'm not going to be dealing with any of that.
14:53And he was right, but you had to really do that work. Good on him. I guess Mike show up
