00:22We're brewing a beer in Windsor for the Royal Wedding and it's unique in itself
00:29because it's the only brewery in Windsor. We're brewing it with barley which has grown on the
00:36Royal Farm here in Windsor and we use that barley, local English barley, and we combine it with hops
00:44which come from the west coast of the USA. So we're using local barley which represents Harry and
00:53west coast US hops for Megan. So we believe this beer is truly a marriage of its ingredients.
01:00We use a blend of hops which is called Invicta and that name of course is the same as the
01:06games
01:06which Harry has supported. So we chose that blend because it helps make the point it's a link with
01:13Harry and his big passion. We have a lovely red label on the bottle and we call the beer Windsor
01:23Knot because in England the term Windsor Knot is a way of tying a tie. And so we show this
01:29Windsor Knot symbol which is made up of a Union Jack for Harry and Britain and the stars and stripes
01:37from the US. On the day itself we will be very busy. We will have TV, we'll have a party,
01:43we'll have our
01:44bottles of beer on sale and we will have a bar on the long walk which is just where the
01:49procession is
01:50so it'll be possible to drink this special beer while watching the procession. In the last hour we've
01:55had almost a hundred emails from people on the east coast of the US and they want to know how
02:02they can buy it.
02:13Our gin is unique because it's based off of our original gin which is again the only gin from
02:22Windsor which we brought out two years ago which we gave a bottle of that to the queen for her
02:2790th
02:28birthday. So we've expanded on this one slightly to make it more relevant for the royal wedding and
02:34by adding ginger into it I think we've made it quite fun as well. The main botanicals in our gin,
02:39the main
02:39one is ginger obviously but we also have organic lime flour and organic lemon peel as well as coriander
02:46and of course juniper. What we like about the name is that it can be taken in different ways
02:50so you can pronounce it just ginger or gin or gin and er and it's playing around with that which
02:57is quite fun.
03:04I think that Megan's an amazing addition to the royal family I think it's brilliant I think it shows
03:10how the royal family is updating and staying with the times. For Windsor this is an amazing opportunity
03:15economically, the excitement, the press coverage just around the town which deserves it because
03:21it's beautiful but it's a really great opportunity to showcase how brilliant our town is.
03:45So this is a special flavour of fudge for the royal wedding. It's sparkly, it's got a little chocolate
03:49crown on it but most importantly it is lemon and elderflower. It's the flavour that the royal
03:54couple are having for their wedding cake which is why we've made it lemon and elderflower. It's quite
03:58tasty, it's very tasty in fact. So we're going to come to work as usual, we're going to work really
04:02hard, we're going to make the fudge, we'll be making this fudge as well especially and we are going
04:06to be coming to work in wedding appropriate clothes and fascinators. I'm going to put a fascinator in my hair,
04:12it's going to be really fun. Windsor is just, it's a touristy town but it's still a really little town
04:18so it brings a lot of business to the town, it really puts Windsor on the map in a way
04:22that it
04:22didn't before. The Americans love the royal family, a load of people do love the royal family so we've
04:28got a load of them coming together, everyone's coming to this country, every shop is getting ready
04:33doing royal wedding themed things, we've got all the flags up running through Windsor preparing the nation
04:39for this big occasion.
