00:07designer and here we are in our shop in Marilobone. I have loved looking to see what royal children
00:13have worn over the ages as I've loved looking at the history of children's clothes even you
00:19know what children wear every day what children wear for very special occasions. Obviously when
00:25Prince George has worn our things it's often been for very formal occasions so you know the rest of
00:31the family are also all wearing very formal outfits so I feel that he has worn our outfits on
00:37quite formal and official engagements. I actually happened to be on a business trip in America when
00:45he wore the sailboat smock dungarees on his first official engagement and I actually found out
00:51because my family and my colleagues you know were contacting me it with the time difference
00:57actually it was it was night so I didn't know until the following morning then of course I turned
01:01on the television and saw on the newspapers there was a lot of press coverage and a lot of interest
01:04in them. Wow how did you feel I mean seeing the you know an heir to the throne wearing your
01:11you know your designs how did that feel? It was obviously a very proud moment for me and for my
01:16team
01:17um I'm a business owner so we are um it was extraordinary to see the interest of the the
01:24global interest in in um in our royal family and it was a very very proud moment and not only
01:32for me
01:32as a business but also for me personally um it was a very special moment. And what about Princess
01:39Charlotte what could you see her wearing? They have a very classic style they're from a traditional family
01:44what's interesting about um children's wear through um when you look back at through the archives is
01:48that children's wear is very um functional so you know something like a um as smock dungarees
01:55which have straps at the back so basically you have the crossover straps which means that for a child
01:59that is crawling um it makes very neat and tidy um as much also when you're wearing a shirt and
02:06short
02:06set for a toddler it means that the shirt is tucked in and it's a very um neat and tidy
02:12way of
02:12um uh of dressing a child. I think for Princess um Charlotte and any traditional baby you know
02:20baby suits when they're little and then you know little dresses um we always do little bloomers which
02:25match which is always fun. Why do you think so many people are keen to recreate um the royals look?
02:31They're probably the highest profile family in the land so um a lot of people are looking to see
02:37what they wear um they're also very um uh well a lot of they have such high global um influence
02:47that
02:47a lot of people over the world are looking to see what they're wearing as well.
