00:00I think it just puts life into perspective you know I think these are
00:04the unsung heroes of Great Britain who change people's lives every day and for
00:08them to be honored in an evening like this is just a massive treat for them
00:12but it's also for us we look at them in awe you know it's it's incredible
00:16they're always stories about people who battled the odds and who have achieved
00:21so much genuinely achieved so much not just from singing or juggling or having
00:26a dancing dog but from doing from changing and saving people's lives you
00:30know you can't get bigger than that you know and I think I've been since we
00:34started in the business every year except the year I was doing strictly which just
00:38didn't allow me to unfortunately and it's my favorite event of the year I just love
00:43it it's it's kind of one of those nights that you know you're gonna have an
00:47emotional roller coaster but it's incredible to actually meet such special
00:52people like you don't know who's gonna be on your table you meet some real
00:55characters and and then you see their story and it's just really special I
01:01think it's I just think it's a wonderful cause and it's so good to
01:03support that these brave people and just yeah showing up is just you know
01:07enough to show that and I wish I was presenting an award actually I think we
01:11did that last time we came but it's it is a bit different being on my own
01:14I think just me and Arishe representing JLS tonight but yeah of course you know
01:19Arishe's here with AJ, Rochelle's here with the girls so be nice to spend some time with the
01:23missus that my band mate yeah for sure.
01:26What are you most looking forward to tonight?
01:29I'm most looking forward to seeing all of the stories you know as I said it's very
01:33inspirational tonight and you get to meet some incredibly courageous people and
01:36it is what it says is the pride of Britain's it's great to be you know
01:39British and it's great to see you know that the stories of the people that have
01:44come out today. Yeah it does keep getting better and better I think you know we've
01:49been a band 10 years and we've come a lot over the last 10 years I don't know
01:54exactly how many times but I think as I get older as well I think I find it
01:57harder to watch without crying and getting away I've got a hanky tonight this is
02:02that but for tonight's stories but yeah it's amazing it's so inspiring it's an
02:07amazing night we're you know we feel very privileged to be invited along to you
02:12know to witness the stories and hopefully get to meet a few of the the people as
02:16well it's always nice to go meet them afterwards and yeah red carpet's all
02:20right you know this isn't this is actually quite chilled it's not too
02:23intimidating you know everyone's here I think well we are to have a have a good
02:29time and enjoy you know amazing stories and amazing peoples oh it's from
02:34beginning to end isn't it I mean get the hanky out right at the beginning and it's
02:38sudden through by the end well I came last year and it was extraordinary it was
02:43like a really fun night out it's a weird thing it's like seeing a weepy movie
02:46is the closest I can you know that feeling of like you go there and you
02:49think I'm not gonna cry this year it's gonna be fine and then you do cry and
02:52then you go oh I feel terrific about it the world's lovely it's fun this is sort
02:57of the humble red carpet this one because you walk up and everyone's taking a
03:00picture and everyone's shouting but in fact and then we should really be here for
03:04us this time it's not not about us every year we come here every year we're
03:10humbled and every year I wish I brought tissues and every year I forget
