00:05biggest park. Planning permission has been approved for measures to protect parts of
00:10Roundhay Park. The council said Soldiers Field and Connaught Field at the Grade 2 listed park
00:17are at risk from vehicle damage. Dozens of letters of support were received after people
00:22living nearby were consulted. The project is set to include 125 sandstone boulders, seven bollards
00:30and 900 metres of earth mounding. Five vehicle barriers will be installed to prevent access to
00:37the two fields. The report said the installations will be designed to blend in with their surroundings.
