00:15Justice Aslam Zainuddin delivered the brief decision on Monday,
00:19saying the court reviewed the appeal record, the Sessions Court judges grounds of judgment,
00:23and submissions from both sides before ruling to dismiss the appeal.
00:28Jufazli was originally charged over a video posted through his YouTube account,
00:32Kingmaker Politique, in June 2022.
00:35Accused of creating and sharing offensive communication with intent to annoy,
00:39police say the video was accessed at the Criminal Investigation Division office
00:43at Dangwangi District Police Headquarters days later.
00:46He was charged under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act,
00:51an offence carrying up to a year's jail, a fine of 50,000 ringgit, or both.
00:57A second charge accused him of refusing to hand over his YouTube account password to police,
01:01an offence under Section 249 of the same act,
01:04punishable by up to two years jail, or a 100,000 ringgit fine.
01:09Both charges were thrown out at the Sessions Court in October last year,
