Ragnarök’s dark clouds hang over Olympus. The trickster Loki rallies the Asgardian gods for a full-scale invasion. Poseidon falls in battle, and Zeus, ruler of the gods, can no longer defend the realm alone. Born without divine power, Heracles is branded a shame of the gods and abandoned on Olympus’ foothills by his father Zeus. Taken in and raised by Odin for two decades, he grows into the Allfather’s acknowledged successor.
