00:00I just heard that Rosie O'Donnell went on my friend Kylie Ridley's podcast and said that she
00:04heard all the co-hosts from The View were being asked back for the 30th season. Now that was news
00:09to me maybe because I'm traveling so much my invites somehow got lost but I have not heard
00:12from anyone from the show and in fact I didn't hear from them during season 25 when they had
00:16I think most if not all of the co-hosts back. I find that really interesting because you know I
00:21always behave very professionally about that show. I was in fact a real co-host. That was former co-host
00:27of The View Michelle Collins speaking her truth about all the behind the scenes drama for the
00:32show's upcoming 30th anniversary special. Rosie O'Donnell sent former hosts of the show into a
00:37spiral after making headlines with this podcast interview. And so I will go on the 30th anniversary
00:44next year and be on with in whatever way they want me just as a guest you know they're bringing
00:52back
00:52all the hosts I think for the 30th season. But Rosie's team had to almost immediately walk back
00:58that announcement. In a statement to E her rep said there was a mention of inviting some of the
01:03hosts back to The View as a guest during season 30. There has not been a formal ask from the
01:08show at
01:09this time. But page six hears that the damage has already been done and many hosts feel snubbed when
01:14they heard about Rosie's self-reported invite to the anniversary special. And Michelle Collins tells page
01:20six this about her video sharing that she did not receive an invite. She says the reaction has been
01:26so overwhelmingly positive and I've always been indebted to The View but I'm down 60 pounds and
01:31I'm finally over my PVSD. So would be great to say hi. The comedian also told us on her summer
01:37vacation
01:38in Italy that she plans to meet up in Europe with Whoopi Goldberg. Whoopi recently made her own
01:43headlines about The View by hinting at her massive annual salary. The EGOT winner told Kiki Palmer on a
01:49recent podcast that people would be shocked by how much money she makes on the show. While keeping
01:54the exact number private it's estimated that Whoopi earns a mid seven figure salary which would
02:00make her the highest paid host on the show. A source also tells page six that former co-host Megan
02:05McCain also was not invited to participate in the anniversary special. The daughter of the late John
02:11McCain has put the show on blast before calling her experience there toxic. But The View executive
02:17producer Brian Teta is trying to calm down the rampant speculation writing on X. We love seeing
02:22all the excitement about The View's 30th. Lots of plans are in the work but no invites have gone out.
02:27Rosie exited The View over a decade ago. She moved her family to Ireland after President Trump won the
02:322024 election after facing years of public personal attacks by him. Rosie's now back in the U.S. with a
02:39critically acclaimed one woman show Common Knowledge that's currently making a limited run off
02:43Broadway. Cast members of The View who turned out to support Rosie on Broadway include Joy Behar and
02:49Anna Navarro who joined the talk show as an official co-host in 2022. Rosie's also got a new look
02:54recently revealing that she underwent a facelift at 64 years old. Rosie took to Instagram to share the
03:00before and after result from the procedure. She told People Magazine that close friend Ricky Lake helped coach
03:05her through the surgical process. Lake who was open about her own facelift was among the stars who attended
03:11Rosie's Broadway show Common Knowledge.
