00:00I've been trapped in a tragedy box.
00:14I talk about all of my experiences going through being vilified,
00:18but I also talk about the experience of trying to explain that to my daughter
00:21and how absurd that that can be.
00:24Like, telling my four-year-old daughter a Dr. Seuss fairytale version
00:30of this very dramatic and serious thing that happened to me
00:34and people that I cared about.
00:38I'm referencing how I was wrongly vilified in the murder of Meredith.
00:44I mean, it would be...
00:46Again, I can't speak to what is or is not triggering to Meredith's family.
00:50What I can say is that I've never seen the kind of scrutiny and criticism
00:54pointed towards a wrongly accused man that I've seen pointed towards me.
01:00I can't say that I was anticipating a petition,
01:03but I was anticipating criticism and pushback
01:08in the sense that I have always received criticism and pushback
01:11no matter what I've done.
01:18Thank you.
01:19Grazie.
