00:01okay thank you very much we have a few subjects that we're going to discuss all important but
00:06one in particular important having to do with birthright citizenship and will if you would
00:12maybe you could start it off with what howard's going to be discussing so a short while ago sir
00:20you signed an order relating to the polysilicon industry this is a series of trade and tariff
00:27actions under section 232 intended to ensure that domestic polysilicon manufacturing is properly
00:34supported and protected from overseas dumping and offshore threats howard can speak more to the
00:40details but polysilicon is incredibly important in the chip making industry in a number of other
00:46industries as well and like many of your previous trade actions sir this is intended to ensure that
00:52we're on shoring manufacturing capacity that we're on shoring our own supply of critical products
00:58and that we're protecting American industry from malign foreign actors in that space thank you so
01:04polysilicon is sort of the foundational product that makes silicon wafers that become the AI chips and the
01:15chips that are in our phones and everything so the president's policies have brought 50 percent of
01:22production into America but we need the foundational products made here otherwise you know we're making the
01:28products here but we need the supply chain here so this will bring the supply chain here we're setting
01:33prices so that the Chinese can't dump anymore and we're setting tariffs to say build it here we've got
01:39the industry here it's too small and it's going to explode under your leadership and we're having
01:45massive numbers of I guess you'd call them factories or plants built having to do with the manufacturing of
01:53chips more than we've ever had before Intel we're very proud of they've done incredible they've really
02:00been an incredible company but we're doing some unbelievable business chips will have a big percentage of the
02:08chip business by the time I leave office which could be a long time who knows but it could also
02:13be
02:13fairly quick they say two and a half years we're going to find out but I just want to say
02:19that it's an
02:20honor to have worked with a very smart group of people and we're bringing the chip business back
02:24into the United States in a very big way Jameson do you have anything to say about that sir I
02:29think you
02:29need to put this in the context of everything else that's happening manufacturing productivity is the
02:34highest it's been in years we haven't seen any growth like this for forever under President Biden the
02:42last part of his presidency he lost 220,000 manufacturing jobs the president has stabilized this now the
02:47manufacturing jobs are going up so all of these indicators on manufacturing are happening and it's
02:52because of tariffs it's because of trade actions it's because of the investment credits you've given
02:57people the tax credits everything you're doing the energy policy all of it is bringing manufacturing back
03:02here protecting American workers and American jobs well tariffs are bringing us hundreds of billions of
03:08dollars worth of dollars I mean just money the money that we've never seen anything like it with no
03:14inflation by the way everyone said oh there'll be inflation we're very low inflation we brought inflation
03:20way down I inherited the worst inflation in the history of our country they say 48 years but I say
03:26the history of
03:27our country and from the Biden administration and we're bringing it way down so the numbers that of I
03:35mean beyond the money being brought in the number of factories being built in our country is more now than
03:41we
03:42have ever seen before there's never been anything like it and you're going to see the results and you're seeing
03:48the
03:48results already in construction jobs because they're being built all over the country but in another year as they start
03:55to
03:56open there's never been we call it the golden age of America and that's what it is now if we
04:01could talk Steve maybe you
04:03could discuss what we're dealing with on birthright citizenship we had a very
04:08unfortunate decision in the Supreme Court concerning birthright it was close but a very very unfortunate decision so we're
04:18making adjustments because it's very unfair this was done for a different reason this was done right after the civil
04:25war this
04:25was for the babies of slaves and what's happening now people are building businesses around it from
04:34wealthy people are building businesses around birthright citizenship that's not the way it's supposed to work
04:40it's a disgrace they're buying their way in and we're not going to let it happen so Steve if you
04:45will please
04:46yes so today the president signed these two executive orders here relating to birthright citizenship and birth
04:52tourism as the president mentioned the 14th amendment was passed exclusively in the aftermath of the civil war so
05:00that to ensure that the children of slaves would be citizens it had no other meaning and purpose outside of
05:05that and that's been clear obviously since the day that it was passed you can go back you can read
05:09the
05:10congressional debates this is not something that's even seriously contested by anybody the president is using his
05:16authority as commander-in-chief to sign first an executive order using the new ruling the Supreme Court
05:22issued to expand the definitions of people who are ineligible for birthright citizenship that includes
05:28for example alien enemies the United States members of foreign terrorist organizations and large categories of
05:35people who lobby and act on behalf of foreign governments and so with taking this action it ensures that large
05:41numbers of
05:42people who wrongly would be getting birthright citizenship will no longer be eligible for those
05:47benefits the second action that he's taking which is especially historic is for the first time ever in
05:53American history to ban birth tourism so I want you to really let that sink in this has been something
06:01that
06:01people have talked about not only for years but for decades the idea that people come here pretending to be
06:07a tourist
06:07pretending to be a visitor saying they want to go to Disneyland they want to go visit a monument or
06:13go to a national park but the real
06:15reason they're here is to have a child to make that child an automatic citizen leave our country and then
06:22have a U.S.
06:23citizen child it gives them access under this broken system to welfare benefits ultimately to the voting booth and all
06:30the other
06:30rights and privileges that belong solely to Americans so that practice of birth tourism is as of the signing of
06:37this
06:37order hereby banned and what that means is that no one in the world is any more allowed to obtain
06:45a visa for this fraudulent purpose it is probably and president trump has done many historic things on
06:52immigration too many to list now seal the southern border shut record deportations record integrity
06:58stopping foreign terrorist entry record reduction in drug seizures dismantling the criminal cartels dismantling
07:05the gangs right everything he's done that has been so unprecedented i would put this in the top
07:10three in terms of importance because it ends what has been one of the gravest and most egregious abuses
07:16of the american system and it keeps american citizenship sacred thank you okay big stuff that's a big deal
07:28um thank you on the world tourism executive order um what are the plans for enforcement in terms of cracking
07:34down on tourism hotels that's common we're cracking down very big very big big crackdowns and this will
07:41give us the right to do it in a much more forceful manner but they've taken birthright citizenship and
07:47they've made a joke out of it and we're actually the only country of of size i think just about
07:53the only country
07:54period that does birthright citizenship i thought we were going to win it at the supreme court
07:59unfortunately we had a bad decision very unfair decision our country suffers because of it
08:04and we're ending it a different way mr president president president at the supreme court john sour
08:11the solicitor general did not have an answer as to how many individuals take advantage of birth tourism
08:18is there a number that i'll tell you right now hundreds of thousands okay hundreds of thousands
08:25you have uh one man came in with a family head said he had 56 children another one came in
08:32they said they
08:32had 98 children this was not what it was for this was meant for the babies of slaves it was
08:39it was right after
08:40one week or two weeks after the civil war ended this wasn't for wealthy multi-millionaires billionaires
08:47coming in and uh bringing 15 20 30 children along with them it's become a big business and we're
08:55ending that business please what makes you confident what makes you confident mr president that this will
08:59pass constitutional i think it will i think in fact uh i asked a very talented person named will
09:05sharif who's standing right behind me and do you want to discuss that well you felt pretty surely
09:10yeah strongly about it the law is absolutely clear what we're talking about as steven said with respect
09:15to birth tourism something that used to happen incidentally where somebody who happened to be on
09:20vacation here went into labor early and had a baby this was sort of a you know a relatively small
09:26problem what we've seen in recent years though is uh organized rings at times criminal rings
09:31setting up a system whereby tens hundreds thousands tens of thousands of people can come to this
09:38country in an organized fashion and and give birth here purely for the the sake of obtaining birthright
09:44citizenship this order takes a number of different actions intended to combat those sorts of organized
09:49practices we look very heavily at denying visas to people that we have reason to believe are coming here for
09:56that purpose visas both for uh but also for the people organizing these rings uh there's also
10:03obviously a law enforcement component uh we'll have a full fact sheet released on this soon but what we're
10:07doing is taking uh legally validated means that are clearly within our disposal and targeting square
10:15on uh to this birth tourism industry uh there's absolutely nothing in here that runs afoul of any of
10:21the supreme court's opinions on the subject this is frankly it's action that's overdue and i'm thankful
10:26that president trump is finally taking decisive action to combat this this issue of birth tourism
10:31now that it's been queued up in the way that it has as a result of the supreme court's opinion
10:36this should have been done a long time ago this should have happened years ago but we're taking care
10:41of it now please thank you can you help us understand how you distinguish between a tourist and a birth
10:47tourist well i'll let you discuss it please happy to and so by the way that's an excellent presentation
10:52thank you steven the for those yes for those of you who want to do your uh your research on
10:58this
10:58section 215a of the immigration and nationality act gives the president this authority 215a of the
11:05immigration nationality act very rarely used probably one of the strongest laws in the entire federal code
11:10gives him this power and that's not the only but it's the main statutory authority that's being used
11:14in this order so birth tourism is by definition a fraud on the american system on the american
11:22taxpayer on the american visa if you're coming here and again your stated purpose is that you're a
11:27tourist then by definition you are here to come for a few weeks look what we have engage in commerce
11:34and leave so if you're telling a consular officer you're here as a tourist but your true purpose and
11:38intent is to go to a baby mill give birth and try to mint an american citizen while you're here
11:45then you're committing a fraud against the american government and by definition that visa can and should
11:50and will be now deny it mr president there is a report that you told donors that they need to
11:56get jd vance elected in 2028 is that your official endorsement no no it's uh i heard about it a
12:03little
12:03while ago i think he's great but we're way too early to even be thinking about that okay and then
12:10mr
12:10president republicans are arguing a lot right now about affordability what is your message on
12:16affordability going into the midterm well that's a good question but it's sort of simple to answer
12:21i inherited the highest prices ever i inherited the worst inflation in the history of our country
12:28and we have uh done an amazing job and oil prices now are coming down very rapidly if you look
12:35at what's
12:35going on it's down to 75 when i started the very important excursion into the islamic republic of
12:44iran it was a very important excursion because they can't have a nuclear weapon otherwise the whole world
12:50would get blown up we're not going to let that happen not only us not only the middle east the
12:55whole
12:55world would have been it would have been catastrophic we had no choice and we had oil down to less
13:00than two
13:01in many places like iowa oil was down to gasoline was down at numbers that people hadn't seen in years
13:08one dollar and 85 one dollar and 95 cents so it passed tuesday i was in iowa uh at a
13:14stop and we had
13:16195 another one 185 a gallon and we'll see those days pretty soon again based on everything i see as
13:25as soon as the war ends and uh i think it's going to end pretty soon i don't think they
13:30can go much
13:31longer yeah please has it do you have been reached to reopen the street well i don't want to say
13:36it
13:36has been it's sort of open right now you know we have a thing called the blockade headed up by
13:42the u.s
13:42navy and we control it and uh now we control it but they can always shoot something they always have
13:48something or drop a mine and if you have one mind sitting out there you sort of mess things up
13:54because people don't want to take their billion dollar boats and accidentally get hit by a mine
13:59but uh i think we're doing very well i just you know i'm involved in the negotiation i think we're
14:05doing fine could be it could be soon yeah mr president have you lobbied any of the undecided republicans
14:11who will vote tomorrow on todd lynch's nomination uh i will lobby if i need to i will lobby
14:18very very diligently because he's outstanding he should be good i mean i can't imagine he's
14:24as good as there is in the country he people have such unbelievable respect for todd blanch so
14:30hopefully that won't be necessary i would i spoke to some people i did uh but uh hopefully it'll all
14:37work out very well for the country because you're not going to find better than todd blanch will you
14:41reach out to senator murkowski senator cassidy for instance let's see if we need anybody i'll reach out to
14:47whoever i have to but uh anybody voting against him would be doing a great disservice to the country
14:53please mr president the deadline for represented max miller to um withdraw from his race is coming
15:00up next week do you believe you should withdraw well i'm not going to get involved and that's a very
15:05sad situation and uh i know max very well but it's uh very very sad that a situation like that
15:15takes place
15:16yeah do you think the doj should prosecute dr fauci well you know they prosecuted peter navarro
15:23and they prosecuted steve bannon two very decent people over something that essentially was never
15:30prosecuted before and there are sort of telltale signs of similarity and they went to jail for a number
15:40of months over something that they i saw one of the analysts said they used to laugh at it in
15:45the
15:45justice department when something like that was referred but uh merrick garland prosecuted two very
15:53decent people and sent them to jail i wasn't president i would have given him a pardon in two seconds
15:59but i wasn't it was after i left they waited till after i left and then they prosecuted these two
16:05people
16:05and they ought to be ashamed of themselves so when you see that happen you sort of say maybe he
16:10should
16:10what he did is far more serious than a lot of crimes frankly but they prosecuted two people
16:17where nothing like that has ever taken place before mr president on munitions you uh posted overnight
16:24that the u.s has a massive amount and you denied any shortages there is a supplemental request for 21
16:32billion dollars to restock so um why is that request still there if there's well because we need
16:39more all the time and we need more look we gave tremendous amount to ukraine the biden people did
16:47and they were given free of charge no no charge no charge billions hundreds of billions of dollars
16:54and fortunately i built up so much during my term i rebuilt the military and also loaded it up with
17:01a
17:01lot of stuff we have certain types of munitions that are very powerful that we have unlimited virtual
17:08unlimited supply we have others where it's a little bit tighter and we're getting them in on a daily
17:15basis as you know our defense companies are building more plans right now than at any point in history
17:20they're building plans for the patriots for the tomahawks for everything but we have uh certain types of
17:26munitions which are very uh they may not be as accurate they may not be you know they're not as
17:31elite
17:32we have elite too but we're we're watching that very closely but we have certain types which are
17:40very powerful and very good and we have an unlimited supply and uh so we're in great shape but
17:48with that being said uh we always want more we have to have more we have other things maybe come
17:54up
17:54you maybe come up and maybe don't come up hopefully nothing else does come up but we're in very good
17:59shape we have literally massive amounts of ammunition yeah mr president on ukraine president
18:06zelensky says his country desperately needs long-range missiles or those patriot missile batteries is that
18:12something that well i mean we want missiles too you know we when biden gave him so much biden gave
18:19300 billion dollars worth of ammunition you know when i left this it was full and he gave a lot
18:25of it
18:26away now we're rebuilding it and we're using munitions that are very powerful very good but we wouldn't have
18:34been using them we could have used something else but these are a little bit older type equally as effective
18:42and uh we it's things that we have so much plus we have supplies of uh munitions all over the
18:48world
18:49that if we ever needed them we'd take that we're supplied all over the world but uh we have we're
18:56in
18:56very very good shape russia seems to have increased their attacks on i know it's yeah i know that's
19:02that must be a concern to you look we're not involved from the standpoint it's uh we're separated by an
19:09ocean
19:09but i hate to see 25 000 young people a month get killed and that's what's happening between russia
19:15and ukraine they're losing on average 25 000 mostly soldiers a month and you know we're working on it
19:24and i think we're making progress but it's a violent very violent war there's a lot of hatred in that
19:30war
19:30a lot of hatred between the two leaders i settled eight wars i thought this would be maybe one of
19:35the
19:35easier ones and it turned out to be the most difficult but progress is being made thank you very much
19:41everybody thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you very much
19:48you
