Horses escape the heat in Croatia by swimming in the sea

Many places offer horse-riding on the beach for tourists, but in the sweltering heat of a Croation summer, they offer horse-riding actually in the sea instead of next to it. Tourists at Supetar were cooling off by riding horses in the sea around the island of Brac, as another heatwave hits the Balkans. "So here's a little bit to cool off, to get away from the city, go out in nature to hang out with animals," Marijela Lagator, a tourist from Split said on on Wednesday (August 5). Horse ranch owner Stiven Razmilic developed the concept after childhood experiences of taking horses to the beach during hot weather.
