00:00I want to speak specifically to an issue that has been focused on in this race.
00:07To my Jewish American sisters and brothers, one of the most indelible memories of this campaign
00:14will have been the opportunity to break bread with you at Seder, to worship with you at shul,
00:21to be embraced by you.
00:26And listening to sisters and brothers who said, you know, I want to join this movement
00:31because AIPAC doesn't speak for me.
00:33Because I understand that self-determination for one people does not require
00:38the quenching of self-determination for another people.
00:42That unless all of us are free, none of us are free,
00:45I want to tell you the great gift that you've given me.
00:48And to all of my sisters and brothers of the Jewish faith, or any faith at all, or no faith
00:54at all,
00:55I want you to know that my commitment to your safety, my commitment to Jewish safety,
00:59is the same commitment that I have to the safety of my own daughters.
01:05Because if there is one question of a political philosophy that ought to animate us all is,
01:09what would we build, what would we do,
01:12if we treated all of our kids like they were all of our kids?
01:17How would we spend our money?
01:19Where would we put our investment?
01:22How would we embrace one another?
01:25What kind of schools would we build?
01:27What kind of health care would we offer?
01:29What kind of jobs would we protect?
01:32And I say this because there could not be a greater contrast
01:36between that philosophy
01:39and the cynicism of Mike Rogers.
01:41See, Mike's a guy who spent 14 years in Congress
01:46with one goal,
01:47to figure out how to cash out the day he left.
01:50Again.
