Watch as a tiny bird lands on a man's shoulder and refuses to leave throughout his visit to a temple.
The heartwarming footage, filmed by Shen Yuan, in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, shows the man kneeling on a prayer cushion inside the temple with the small bird calmly perched on his shoulder.
As the man bows his head in prayer, the bird remains completely still, showing no fear despite his movements.
According to Shen, the bird flew onto the man's shoulder shortly after he arrived and stayed there for the entire visit.
The man, who says he has followed a vegetarian lifestyle and avoided harming living creatures for seven years, believes the encounter was a touching moment of trust between humans and wildlife.
