00:44Historically, they've been a strong side at times,
00:46but they were inconsistent.
00:48This year though, they were rock solid.
00:51Meanwhile, conversations with Siri can be a slow
00:53and turn-by-turn experience.
00:56ChatGPT's new work mode can take on very complex tasks.
00:58and draw on your connected accounts like your Gmail, Google Calendar,
01:02Google Drive, as well as shopping and travel apps.
01:05I can even have it complete online tasks on my behalf,
01:08add that information to my new documents,
01:10and even create a personal website.
01:12Apple's Siri doesn't have a dedicated work mode,
01:15but it has one major advantage.
01:16It already lives in more than a billion Apple devices.
01:19While the revamped Siri lacks a lot of the third-party connections
01:23that ChatGPT has, it makes up for it with some genuinely game-changing features.
01:27It can, for the first time, analyze and search for your information
01:31from your photos, messages, emails, notes, and files.
01:35It can even understand whatever is on your screen,
01:37let's say a chart, a file, a document, or even a crossword.
01:42Siri is still in beta right now,
01:43but it might gain more abilities when Apple rolls it out more widely
01:47when it announces new devices in the fall.
01:49ChatGPT, meanwhile, limits its most advanced and resource-intensive work mode
01:53to the paid plans with usage limits.
01:56So, whose AI is winning?
01:57For deep work and integrations, ChatGPT leads.
02:01But for lightweight tasks within the Apple ecosystem,
02:04Siri might just be the assistant that millions are waiting for.
