Abi namo'g unsay saba, kuan diay nagparade sila. Wala man silay bitbit mga gulay ug prutas. Kami sauna magparade sa nutrition month kay magbitbit ug basket or gamay nga planggana nga naay sulod nga gulay ug prutas, sila kay wala.

The students of San Antonio Elementary School had a parade for Nutrition Month. We were wondering where the loud noise came from, only to realize they were having a parade. They weren't carrying actual fruits and vegetables. Back in our day, we used to carry baskets or small basins filled with fresh fruits and veggies during Nutrition Month parades, but times have changed. They carried posters, and some wore sashes and cartoon crowns with pictures of fruits and vegetables. A few were carrying kamunggay (moringa) leaves. Maybe things are done differently now and their actual fruits and veggies are back at school. Filmed: August 3, 2026.
