00:02He's not even doing anything, Pearl. He's just sleeping.
00:08Hey, Pearl.
00:09With every side of her being, she hated her new little brother.
00:15Pearl did not sign up to be another sister. And, I mean, I definitely get it. Who wants constant meowing?
00:20What?
00:21Meow!
00:23What?
00:23Meow!
00:26Hey, nice!
00:27Obviously, there was a lot that Pearl was having to get used to. And I know what you're already thinking.
00:32They should have separated them. They should have did all the introduction steps. Rest assured, they already were doing those
00:37things off camera.
00:38We supervised them 100% of that time. She had only child syndrome. She said, this is my mom, this
00:47is my dad, this is my house. Get out. Pearl was quite the little Sour Patch Kid.
00:53What's crazy about this is that a couple years ago, Pearl was actually a stray cat who literally walked right
01:00into their home and never left.
01:01We assumed that she had to take a fight or flight stance on things. As time went on, she started
01:09to open up and show us that really sweet side of her.
01:13At this point, Pearl was safe. She had a home, two human servants, and was even starting to show her
01:18sweet side. Everything should be good, right?
01:20She has plenty of toys, but I was noticing she was very bored.
01:25When we play kitten noises on our phones, she's very, like, intrigued. So, when we brought Hank home, we thought
01:33she would be a little more open-minded.
01:36About a month and a half in, Hank ran under the couch, and she actually laid on her back for
01:42the first time showing her belly.
01:44That was her first step into getting used to having Hank as a little brother. It was such a relieving
01:52experience.
01:54These days, Pearl finally has what her parents hoped she'd find, a little brother who she can play and grow
01:59up with.
02:00She is not bored at all. Their dynamic completely encapsulates big sister energy and annoying little brother energy.
