00:11together. But getting here wasn't easy. Malai was rescued in 2016 from a trekking camp.
00:18She was already 59 years old, weak and blind in one eye. A year later, Alicia was rescued from
00:24another trekking camp. She arrived with countless injuries and sadly completely lost her eyesight.
00:34No one expected what happened next. Malai took an interest in Alicia and started
00:39helping her find her way around. And before long, they were together constantly.
00:46She sticks by her side all day and even keeps watch while she explores.
00:51And here's the sweetest part. Malai does not like water. But Alicia is obsessed with swimming.
