00:00If you're going to get everybody excited, what is going to make this new stadium so special?
00:03Besides the fact that when it's all said and done, it will be the second most expensive stadium ever built.
00:09And the first, of course, is SoFi Stadium out in Los Angeles, which is a five billion dollar space.
00:15Expansive, expansive. Yeah. You know, look, I think we have a you know, I tell people we have both a
00:22unique challenge, but also a little bit of a gift.
00:24Right. I don't think you could just build any stadium in Washington, D.C.
00:29I think you had to figure out a way from a design standpoint to fit into the fabric of the
00:37district.
00:38And so for us, this vision of creating yet another incredible monument in the city and how it fit from
00:50a design standpoint, you know, probably gave us a little bit narrower, you know, runway to focus on.
00:57And, you know, we certainly had a lot of good dialogue internally on a variety of different elements.
01:03But I think we landed in a really great spot.
01:06I think what people should be excited about, it's you know, this is going to be the nation's stadium.
01:12It really is. That's our vision for it. That's where we are.
01:15I think I can tell you from the interest of taking advantage of that stadium, there's no shortage of inbound
01:23folks being excited about whether we're talking Women's World Cup in the future or Super Bowls or other things.
01:30There's a lot of opera final fours, WrestleMania, if that's on your agenda.
01:34Yeah. Never know. Yeah. Big revenue maker for the city.
01:38But anyway, these are all areas where I really think we're going to be just an and, you know, an
01:45unmissable location for people to come and have the biggest and the best shows and programs in the country.
01:52While remembering that this is going to be a football first stadium, you know, we I've said this before, our
02:01goal is to make the most terrifying stadium in the in the world to come play in.
02:07I want visiting. I want visiting teams to look at their schedule and circle the date they're coming to D
02:15.C. and be terrified by that.
02:17You know, our fans, I want up close. I want loud. I want, you know, everybody in that building unified
02:25in our shared goal to win championships.
02:29And so when we design the stadium, that's how we're going to design it.
02:33Right. As we design engineering it to be the loudest, everything all the way to the very well remembered and
02:40beloved shaking seats from the original RFK.
02:44Although, as I joke, they will be structurally sound this time, not just wobbly because they were wobbly.
02:51So we're going to we're going to engineer that into the stadium.
02:54But but I think that's the that's the the needle we're threading. Right.
02:59I want, you know, all of the great shows to come. I want all of the great programs to be
03:03here.
03:03But when you go in for a football game, I want you to know that you're at the at Commander
03:08Stadium, just like it was at RFK back in the day.
