00:26break it down for you okay it's a saturday night i'm being told i'm gonna get a party of 16

00:31said great bring it on let's go easy money so i thought okay so the party of 16 gets sat

00:38section they take up three tables in my section so when you get sat a party you usually get skipped

00:43in rotation a few times because you're dealing with a big party i get to the table i introduce

00:47myself i do my whole spiel before i'm finished even speaking one guy's like whoa whoa hey stop he said

00:53hold on he said you're not going to talk to them you're going to talk to me i'm going to

00:56order

00:56everybody's food and then i'll give you the drinks i said okay perfect what are we having a drink

01:01all right he said no i'm going to give you the food first and then i'm going to give you

01:05said okay perfect what will you be having he ordered six vegetarian combos which comes two veggie

01:11patties two protein pancakes egg whites and a side of fruit he said but we don't want egg whites

01:17all of the egg whites change them out for hash browns on those hash browns i want you to add

01:20jalapenos and onions great let's do that then he proceeds to order seven omelets seven omelets

01:27which come with three pancakes each okay perfect after that when he gives me the drinks they order

01:35he orders 15 waters no ice 14 hot chocolates with whipped cream and one regular coffee with regular

01:44milk okay i said perfect i've sent in the order for you he said and make it quick because we

01:50somewhere to be that's where i almost lost my shit because how do you come out to a restaurant

01:55order seven omelets and tell me to hurry up i said you know what sir there is other people in

02:02restaurant it probably won't come out as fast as you'd like it to but we will definitely try our best

02:08okay when i tell you that the kitchen got this food out in like that the kitchen got this food

02:14quick i had two other servers help me run food we were all carrying a bunch of hot plates took

02:21the table they got everything that they needed before the food got to their table they all had

02:25already napkins syrup hot sauce they had everything that they could have needed to get to enjoy their

02:31meal so they enjoy their food whatever i'm checking on them they're they keep saying everything's great

02:37when it came down to give them the check i gave the check to the guy who was like oh

02:40i'm gonna order

02:41everything i'm gonna pay for everything okay great i gave him the check the check was 320 with

02:47some change and when it came to pay he pays me cash he gives me 321 which means no tip

02:56and i was like

02:58okay so i went to the table there's no tip at the table anything i said okay i'm gonna go

03:03so i went up to him i said excuse me sir um you only gave me 321 i just wanted

03:07to ensure that this

03:08was accurate you're not gonna leave any gratuity i just wanted to make sure everything came out to

03:12your expectations you enjoyed your food everything was to your liking and you know i just want to make

03:17sure he said well i didn't know it was mandatory i know some people gonna disagree disagree with me on

03:25this one but listen if you're going out and you're spending 320 you can leave a tip bro i mean

03:36i think gratuity should have been added on to it from the beginning right i know a lot of places

04:27know i don't tip everybody right but if you go to a restaurant you go to a bar or something

04:57and i know some people gonna disagree to me if you ain't got the money just stay home you

05:02shouldn't be going out anyway i ain't saying you can't enjoy your life but you got you got things

05:06that are if you ain't got the money to tip things should be there should be a lot more things

05:12are higher on your list to take care of before going out to eat is even thought about right because

05:18going out to eat is a is a that's that's extra right you can go to the grocery store get

05:24cook it yourself and save and save a lot of money so it's not like you're not eating you know

05:29mean you're taking care of your bare necessities by eating but you ain't got to go out if you ain't

05:33got the money for the tip that's just the way that i see it personally but y'all can y

06:44saying leave 30 tip no like everybody not everybody's set up like that not everybody knows the industry

06:49but how dare you go out to eat 16 people rack up a tab of 320 be rude to your

09:06time because from from what i've learned and what i've seen tipping ahead of time ensures that the

09:11service is going to be phenomenal you give somebody some money ahead of time uh for the

09:16service that they're about to render for you you put a smile on their face now they feeling much

09:20better you know them feeling like oh man i may not get a tip you know that all goes out

09:25because they already got it food comes out quick service is quick nice smile it's beautiful it's

09:31lovely you know so that's just my feelings on it hey if you're going out and you're getting a

09:37service at a restaurant or a bar or wherever man tip the person tip them you know if you don't

09:42want to tip then stay at home stay at home cook your own meals make your own drinks whatever the

09:47case is

09:47but stay at home that's just the way that i feel about it but i know some of y'all
