00:30This year, countries like Portugal and Spain have recorded a 100% increase in wildfires
00:35when compared to the same period in 2025.
00:39Last year alone, around 2.2 million hectares of land burned, while by July 22 of this year,
00:49254,388 hectares had already burned, according to data released by the European Forest Fire

00:56Authorities warned that as climate change warms the planet, Europe needs to prepare for
01:02more frequent and intense wildfires that can aggravate cardiovascular and respiratory problems
