Amazon now requires sellers to disclose AI-generated people in product imagery following a new New York transparency law.

00:22informing shoppers when AI-generated people are used. The company said the rule does not
00:27apply to fictional characters, or real people altered with AI. Amazon didn't immediately
00:32respond to CNBC's request for comment. Amazon has expanded AI tools across its retail business,
00:38and more third-party sellers are using AI to create listing content. Third-party sellers account
